AboveLegit
christomasson Gilbert Arenas will start tonight for Wizards. Flip Saunders will go with three-guard lineup with John Wall at pt and Kirk Hinrich at sm for Wow that should be interesting, I thought Gil wasn't going to play because of his ankle. AboveLegit
Finally watched the game, and I'm impressed. I think JeVale is finally learning the NBA game. He's looked much more aggressive on the boards than he did in his first two years with the team, so I wouldn't be totally surprised if his rebounding rate increased significantly this season. With Wall at PG, the team will attack the basket more, which will make rebounding much easier for McGee and Blatche. Last year most will recall me criticizing McGee for constantly falling for the shot fake, but now he's not jumping as much and is instead, looking to utilize his wing span to disrupt shooters. He's more selective with leaving his feet, and is timing his jump better. Blatche looked superb last night. There were a few plays where he took it straight at Brendan Haywood, Tyson Chandler, and Dirk Nowitzki, and used his footwork to score in the paint. He's picked up on the fundamentals, isn't over dribbling now, and is feeding off of Wall and the rest of the team. There were a few instances last night where Arenas looked good in catch and shoot situations. I'm not going to get overly optimistic, but I will keep my eye on how he works without the ball. And what else can I say about Wall. He's everything I expected. He's lightning quick, a great passer, and is a smart decision maker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsDK6ZBB-zY&feature=player_embedded I think only a handful of NBA PG's can make that pass with ease. Rondo, Paul, Williams, Nash, and Kidd.
