The Goods
A Spanish web site has reported that Wally Szczerbiak has turned down a contract offer from the Euroleague's Real Madrid. Szczerbiak's father played professionally in Spain and currently works as a scout for Spanish teams in the U.S. The Cavaliers have been in contact with the free-agent swingman, but have not offered him a contract. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60624/20090717/szczerbiak_turns_down_offer_from_real_madrid/
Cleveland's Finest
Not many teams are trying to get him. If the Cavs can;t get Rob Kurz then I assume we'll resign him at a low cost. We won't talk to Wally for awhile though.
OldChili
He's not going to make anywhere close to what he made last year.
