Amare320
Im pumped. Thank You Aussie tv for broadcasting this :glasses: Should be a highly competitive game if they both 'bring it' let's hope there's not a huge amount of rust first regular season game back. Cleveland's Finest
I'm rooting for Boston. A close game in which Boston wins IMO gives Cleveland the best chance of beating Boston the following night. I'm pumped to see this game. As much as I hate the Heat, I'm just as excited to see how they play. And to see LBJ vs. the Celtics will be interesting. And then Delonte back in a Celtics uniform. Owner Real Deal Posted October 26, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 26, 2010 The only times I'll root for the Boston Celtics... 1) if it's against a team that threatens our conference standing at the end of the season2) against LeBron and Bosh So, go green. <_>
Warren2ThaG
I actually think Boston might win by 10+, home opener is a big statement.
Lemon
I actually think Boston might win by 10+, home opener is a big statement. Same reason Miami should win. Everyone's expecting the Heat to send a big message to back the 7 championship talk.

Nitro
WOOHOOO!!!!! Only 3 hours left! After that excruciating summer and pre-season, we're finally here! Personally, I expect it to be a very close game. I think Boston will come out on fire and jump out to a 10+ lead, but the Heat will get it together and make it a tight contest. My prediction is Boston wins by 5. They have the chemistry, talent, health and depth, and are coming off a crushing Game 7 defeat in the Finals. They also have the motivation from everyone talking about the Heat in the off-season when they were likely one Perkins injury away from a championship. Poe
I guess I'm not feeling the same excitement as most people. Not that I'm not excited at all, it's just that the WNBA kept my basketball-watching needs in check over the summer, so the break from NBA didn't feel like a big long drought. It's like an extended season, with the WNBA starting right as the NBA playoffs are over, and when the WNBA season ends.. "oh look, NBA preseason starts in just a couple weeks". With that said.... GO HEAT! Edited October 26, 2010 by Poe

Owner Real Deal Posted October 27, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 27, 2010 What happen?I just posted an announcement about it. Basically, the site was moved to another server, and I wasn't aware of it. Domain propagation usually takes a while (allowing members to view the new server), so many of our guys (including me and basically everyone) were still viewing and accessing the site on the old server. I don't understand all of this fancy mumbo jumbo about servers and domains and hosts...Nah. When they moved the site, they literally moved it...made a backup of it (before the games started, of course, because I have awesome luck) and moved it to a new server. Domain propagation happens when your ISP updates their IP records. In other words, all sites you visit have an IP address, like houses have addresses. Usually, every day, your ISP (ex. Comcast) updates that list of addresses, allowing you to connect to those sites. So, when you thought you were connecting to the new server that OTR was on, you were actually still posting on the old one.
