Built Ford Tough
I love this Clippers team. I've always been a quasi-Clippers fan, but this season I think I might make an effort to watch as many games of theirs as I can, rather than just watching them whenever they are on TV. They are just so damn exciting to watch and I love the youth on this team. Gordon and Griffin are two phenomenal building blocks for this team. I think that these two are going to be quite the one-two punch in a few years. Gordon looks absolutely awesome out there right now.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 28, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted October 28, 2010 Wow, that was one of the quickest fastbreaks I've seen in a long time.
The Regime
The Clippers might be one of the most exciting teams to watch, especially when their first unit is in. Griffin and Gordon do a great job running the floor and finishing.
Dr. Feelgood
Jeez, this is to close for comfort right now. I think the Blazers are just toying with this Clippers team, sort of like giving them a little confidence boost like they did the Suns last night. We'll get it together and close out strong. The Regime
The Clips are so inconsistent lol, one minute they go on a scoring surge and the next they are giving up 3-4 consecutive buckets. They know nothing about momentum.
Dr. Feelgood
And just for good measure, LaMarcus sinks his first and only three of the season.
Sun Tzu
Blazers pulling away with the lead right now.
Dr. Feelgood
Yeah, time to finish off the Clippers. Show no mercy guys.
ChosenOne
That was a VERY selfish play by Gordan.
The Regime
Jesus Christ, throw up the lob to Griffin, you know he wants the ball on the break just look at his reaction lol.
Dr. Feelgood
Yeah, total dick move on Gordon. Could have set him up PERFECT.
Built Ford Tough
Kaman has had a lot of good looks tonight, but it seems like he is rushing everything due to Camby's presence out there. He has missed some real point blank looks because he didn't gather himself, go up strong etc... Camby has played very well tonight, though. Double double for him and he has had a noticable impact on the defensive end of the floor. This game has been all about pace. Whenever the Clippers have been able to get out in transition and get the pace of the game up, they have went on a run but whenever the Blazers have been able to slow it down and play at their usual McMillian snails pace, the Clippers haven't been able to get much in the half court. Agreed with that. The Clippers have struggled with their half court defense tonight, any time the Clips have managed to play a good defensive sequence they've bailed the Blazers out with a foul. Offensively the Clips need to try to get Blake more looks looks in the post, almost all his points have come off putbacks.
Dr. Feelgood
Yeah, I knew Portland would finish this game off. Great debut game by Griffin though, he looked like a freak, a beast, a monster....my god.
