htown11
Rockets just fail to make the big plays. When you need a wide open shot to fall it doesn't, when you need a basic rebound something goes wrong and guys forget to grab with both hands, or don't even box out. The reason these losses are so frustrating is because they stay in it the entire game, and then in the fourth make mistakes that a professional NBA team should not make. Every single game has been a tease, no blowouts just flirting with victory. Rule the Rockets have taught the fans this year, every time you think we are on the verge of victory, stop and tell yourself it's not happening. This team has made mistakes no doubt, but they have had some serious bad luck with the way things have gone. Hill had two great blocks in this game that landed in shooters hands and resulted in 5 total points.

Nah we made the right plays, we just couldn't get a stop when it mattered, when we would hit a big 3, or get an important basket, the Hornets would just counter everything. That stop is the exact big play I am talking about though, they play well enough to stay in it but refuse to take charge when they have the opportunity. It's worse than getting blown-out because you know you have it when really it keeps resulting in a loss lol. Two plays I remember vividly, Budinger missing a wide open three, and Yao not securing a big rebound being out hustled as usual.... those are things that just get on my nerves not getting it done at the right moment, it feels like it has happened in all four games. DaFranchise03
People finally starting to see what I have noticed a while ago. Adelman is not a good coach for this team. Morey has been trying to acquire pieces for this horrible system but its not that easy. Players like Divac and Webber do not come often. If you look at his Portland team they were just filled with good talent unlike the Rockets who are filled with above average role players. Please get rid of him, Martin, Brooks, and Brad Miller.
