Miami is 5-4, 9-11 all over again?

Heat could be so good though. Erik Spoelstra is the worst offensive coach in the NBA. They have that much speed, size, and talent and all they do is run a half-court offense. If they'd just put LeBron at PG, Wade at SG, Jones at SF, Bosh at PF, and Haslem at C they could outrun every team in the NBA and still play excellent defense. Instead, they get rid of the strengths they have...Pat Riley NEEDS to be coaching this team.

What it comes down to is this: Bosh is a slasher. Lebron is a slasher. Wade is a slasher.

What they need to do is find ways to get Bosh the ball less than 10 feet from the hoop. Even if he doesn't post up, if he can make quick face up moves to score some points and draw some defensive attention that will go a long way toward opening up driving lanes for everybody else.

When I watch what Amare does for the Knicks and watch what Bosh does for the Heat I think that both teams should just trade them. Bosh is better at handling the ball in the places where D'Antoni is giving it to Amare, and Amare wouldn't get intimidated against Garnett and would score around the basket better than Bosh.

Rondo had another fantastic game, as did Ray Allen. Greatest three point shooter ever.

I think everyone on Boston had a very efficient game. Looking at the boxscore, Pierce was 10/16, Garnett was 6/8, and while Ray missed 10 shots, he still was 7/9 from three. That stretch where Nate came in during the third was huge as well, props to him, he bounced back after being on somewhat of a shooting slump the past few games.

I still dont understand why people put so much worth into one regular season game.

Because everyone here hates Miami, its a fact. So when we're losing everyone is loving it and pointing out all our flaws and all that crap. Plus, these are 2 of the top teams in the league.

Anyways, once again we come out flat and get blitzed at the start. Just like at NO and like the second half against Utah. Playing catch-up with Boston is not something we're going to win. That speech at half time was brutal. Wade was a no-show all together tonight. Just a bad game from everyone not named LeBron, Udonis or Chris Bosh.

Heat were terrible on the defensive end. Bosh was good on offense, but he was horrific on defense. Heat have a lot of work to do and they need to sign a center. Celtics dominated offensively and got whatever they wanted, imagine once they have Perkins, add JO, then the Heat will be even smaller.

If the NBA was track meet that post might make sense

This whole downplaying regular season games is becoming so cliche now.

It is an important game. It's one of the few times you have as a team to find out where you stand against potential playoff teams. I'll bet a good amount of money on the Heat facing the Celtics in the playoffs.

Did you really just compare this team to showtime Lakers?

No, you said the NBA isn't a track meet.

The Showtime Lakers proved that the NBA can be a track meet if you have enough talent...

The Showtime Lakers could also slow down and defend in a half court set as well, they could also slow down on offense too.

The scary thing about this Heat team is that even though they played sub-par for at least 3 quarters, they were still able to claw back and make the opponent team sweat in the last 5 minutes or so. Imagine if Wade made 1 or 2 of those 3-pointers that rimmed out and Heat may be the team smiling at the end.
