Owner Real Deal Posted November 13, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 13, 2010 They beat Orlando last night, probably tired. Miami is pissed because they have lost two straight home games, and I doubt Wade plays that bad again. No major point guard advantage, even though Jack and Calderon are both better PGs than Arroyo and Chalmers. Bargnani isn't a traditional back-to-the-basket post scoring threat. The Heat should win by 20+ tonight. Hope I'm wrong.
Check my Stats
I can actually see Bosh struggling defending Bargnani. It will just be fun to watch the sort of interaction the Raps have with him pre-game before the jump, the players actually seem pretty bitter when asked about Bosh, so I wonder if there will be any love. I wouldn't be surprised if Bosh went off tonight though, they need to run plays for him instead of basically using him as Udonis Haslem. Check my Stats
Idk what it is but Wade looks disinterested out there, he is being a little [expletive]. Demar is looking awesome though. If he can develop that type of jumper consistently he will be a very good player for us.
Cleveland's Finest
Well it was close at least, but it looks like Miami's pulling away. The sad thing about this is that Bosh probably feels like the victim of this whole story and it's unfortunate.
Check my Stats
I am by no means a Bosh hater, but even though we are going to lose, I have to admit it feels good to do so well and him do nothing but sit and watch.
Cleveland's Finest
I thought he'd have a good game, but he really didn't "get back" at his team. I expect the same when we play the Heat. LeBron will lean on Wade because the pressure kills LeBron.
headliner
Bosh didn't look to happy sitting. From what I've seen Bosh hasn't played to expectation and he looks very fustrated with himself. I think over time when he has better understanding of his role on the team Bosh will play better basketball,
Owner Real Deal Posted November 14, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 14, 2010 One superstar shoots well, the other doesn't. Story of the Heat.
Flash
Took our foot off the gas much like the Utah game but we got by because Toronto just isn't a good team. Bosh got into foul trouble but was on his way to a solid game. This was such a boring game though because the refs never let the game get into a rhythm or flow. Every other possession there was a whistle. Solid games from Wade and LBJ. Haslem was good tonight as well.
Clutch
obviously size is a weakness for the heat, but damn you dont have to be 7 feet tall to box out

I think it was only 6. However, I agree we need to do a better job of boxing out. They also got to every long rebound before we did. That's just a matter of wanting it more. Clutch
lol sickest rebound was when bargnani hit a shot off the side of the backboard and got it back lool that was soo funny, and then he made the shot Edited November 14, 2010 by Clutch
Built Ford Tough
Looks like DeRozan had another solid game, at least offensively. First time in his career that he has had back to back 20 point nights and for them to come against two of the best teams in the East, on the road, in a back to back is pretty impressive. He seemed to struggle with Wade, but it is Dwyane Wade, who doesn't struggle guarding him when he is on his game? If these last two games don't prove the point that he needs to get at least 30 minutes every night, I don't know what will. Wish I could've saw this game, or caught a replay, but I'm not about to wake up at 5AM to watch it. What was going on with Wright tonight, though? Did the Raptors suddenly re-acquire Antoine Wright? What was with the chucking from deep? He has played so well and always played within himself but tonight he seems to have played like Antoine instead of Julian. I loved watching him play and you can really see that he has a real bright future in this league. Hopefully he stays with Toronto for a long time. Check my Stats
This really reminds me a lot of when Bosh was in his first year (sophomore season) with VC gone. The only difference is Demar doesn't even have someone as good as Jalen Rose beside him which is pretty sad (yes Rose > bargnani imo). I don't necessarily think Demar will be a perennial all-star like Bosh was for us, but the only way to find out what the kid can do is to feed him to the wolves and let him play through potential struggles. He is probably our best offensive player when his jumper is working like it was last night, the only way his shot will get better if he is allowed to miss 3-4 in a row and not have to worry about his [expletive] getting yanked. Basically give him the unconditional minutes like Bargnani gets and see what the kid does with them.
