Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Who the hell is talking? The dude is like... "If they are going to call offensive fouls on pushes, Kobe would've fouled out 15 minutes ago." "Kobe is great, but he's always had a lot of talent." What an idiot. BadgerFan
Wow, this is the worst officated game this season imo. Every run the Bucks have, the refs call a bull[expletive] foul that makes a huge difference (Jennings shot where he was fouled, and then Brown nails a 3) and now Jennings cleanly strips it and gets called for a foul. [expletive] this.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 The league wants the Lakers to win all of their games. They actually suck, and everyone can stop Kobe.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Jennings can't hit an open shot, Shannon makes them pay. Smooth sailing.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 The Lakers one of the best defensive teams in the league? Haha, 16th or 17th isn't one of the best. Odom with an easy putback, no boxing out down there. EDIT: LOL, he just wanted to tell us one more time, one of the best defensive teams in the league! Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Bucks fouled each other there, but the referees didn't call it.

Newman
I am quite worried about the Lakers' perimeter D, even with the Bucks' collapse in the second half. They got some terrific perimeter defenders as well as some average ones, but they were giving up crap loads of 3's. Good to see Ebanks getting a bit of PT, by the way. Phoenix nearly set the NBA record against us, and the Bucks aren't even that great of a three-point threat. We'll get that fine-tuned by April. Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 The dude that was trashing Kobe all game, then calling Steve Blake by the name Nash and saying the Lakers defense is among the best in the league (maybe to make what Jennings did more impressive?) just stated that this is the first time the Bucks have allowed over 100 points all season long. I'm guessing he wants to forget the OT loss to Boston, 105-102.

The Regime
Damn Shannon Brown's jumper has looked pretty this season. He just needs to play within his limits, we get in trouble when he starts to create his own shot.

He just needs to play within his limits, we get in trouble when he starts to create his own shot. Yeah I'm very curious to see how he adjusts when his jumper cools off. He's shooting over 51% from 3 this season which is ridiculous. He's only had 2-3 "bad" games shooting the ball, and like every player he will hit a skid where he has a few cold nights in the span of a week or two. Hopefully when that time comes he won't force up bad shots, and rather play within the offense and take the ball to the rim.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 It's the system, it's Kobe, and it's Gasol. It gets players a lot of open shots. You saw the same thing with Trevor Ariza. Brown just didn't shoot well on a consistent basis last season because he was playing with a broken hand or thumb (don't remember which). It was a big reason why Vujacic was getting minutes, honestly.

It was a big reason why Vujacic was getting minutes, honestly. Just because he's playing with Gasol and Kobe in the triangle doesn't mean it's realistic to expect that he'll continue to shoot over 50% from 3 this season. I mean, I think it is unlikely that James Jones continues to shoot 50% from 3 the rest of the season, and he is also playing with a talented supporting cast. And unlike Brown, he's a specialist brought in just to stand at the 3pt line. Also, Brown isn't just knocking down wide open 3's, but he's also been hitting some tough, contested jumpers, as well as heat-checks. I do think he has a good shot at shooting over 40% from 3, but to expect him to continue this shooting display for the rest of the season is expecting way too much. GamerGuy
Will he remain hot like this all season? Probably not, but as long as he stays within the offense and remains consistent he'll be fine. I only saw a few minutes of the game last night, but I wasn't too concerned about losing this one.
