Pooh25
Would be another big win for the Rockets they need to keep this going. BTW that is not Lee in the pic that's Ish Smith... Yeah, sorry I went to fast in creating the thread. Chicago Bulls Preview:This is a must win game for our Chicago Bulls because the Circus Trip is only going to get harder and we must defeat a Rockets team without Yao Ming or Aaron Brooks. This will be the first time we will get to see the return of Brad Miller and Joakim Noah should dominate against Brad Miller because he is too slow and lost a lot of steps. Rose should have a field day in the lane as well because Miller is too slow to stop Rose from penetration. Rose will be going against an inexperienced point guard, where Rose should dominate the whole day and take advantage of that. He should not be passive unless the shot is not there or else he should just attack the lane and as a result rack up assists by open shots because of his penetration. We must contain Kevin Martin tomorrow and that is a key to victory. If the Chicago Bulls execute Tom Thibodeau's defense mastermind strategies then they will have no problems with containing Kevin Martin. I really hope James Johnson, Bogans, and Brewer can play great defense tomorrow because Kyle Korver might be out for the game and possibly the Circus Trip. ChosenOne
This would be a very good win if we can manage to win this one. Bulls are a solid team and as long as we can don't let Rose drop 30+ on us I think we will win this. Rockets by 7. Kevin Martin goes for 30+. htown11
Battier making it rain from three, old man stepping it up on the offensive end.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Lowry is getting crushed, and Martin should just stop shooting.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 LOL, Rose will score 30 points a game if he really wants to, yet when it's time to do something very late in the fourth, not a chance. He wants to pass the ball. What is wrong with this dude?
htown11
5 points taken away from Kyle Lowry on "further review" replay... very frustrating.
htown11
Good patience by Shane Battier, that was a broken play that resulted in an easy hook shot from Brad Miller.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 5 points taken away from Kyle Lowry on "further review" replay... very frustrating.I didn't get to see the three-pointer, but that second one was definitely a 24-second violation. I think it's a good thing. Houston will end up on the right side of the call someday, and you'll love that replay.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Rose needs to just attack and finish at the rim, right out of this timeout.

But the pain and frustration still exists!!!
htown11
Damn Noah makes both free throws.... Rockets continuing to have no identity in the fourth quarter.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Uh, it might be time to start shooting threes.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Bulls are going to make both frees, or one with no time to run up the court. That was dumb.
htown11
Uh, it might be time to start shooting threes. I don't think Martin got that memo. Easily his worst game of the season. 5-15 1-5 from the three point line.
htown11
Rockets continue to tease tease tease, that 4th quarter starts and it's like the team just crawls into a hole and dissapears who the hell want's to step up and close a basketball game. Derrick Rose sure can.
YugoRocketsFan
Rockets needed Brooks/Yao really badly tonight, we played half court offense mostly and didn't fastbreak.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 Rockets needed Brooks/Yao really badly tonight, we played half court offense mostly and didn't fastbreak.I'm not sure how much the fastbreak would've mattered with Brooks when you have Rose on him. Plus, while nobody really played defense for the Rockets, Brooks would've given up 45 points having to defend Rose. But having Yao would've been a different story, so I'll give you that. Even for 24 minutes, Yao does enough to change a half of basketball.
htown11
They could have used Mr. Efficient Kevin Martin tonight, but he didn't show up. I can't remember the last time I saw K Mart air ball a jump shot, you know it's bad when he's doing that.

TBH, I was saying that we needed Yao/Brooks because they are good in a half-court offense, Yao would have also played more defense in the post and made Rose shoot more from outside all game, while Brooks could have stroked 3s, Lowry was wide open at times and didn't even shoot. Owner Real Deal Posted November 17, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 A healthy Yao would've stopped Rose from getting into the paint as much as he does, but this year's Yao wouldn't have been able to make it over to the drive on time, not even late October Ming. Maybe against slower guards. Gotta pick your poison, though. Lowry gives you slightly better defense, Brooks gives you offense with pathetic defense. Both are inconsistent in their strongest areas. Offensively, yes, Yao and Brooks would've helped. The bad thing was, Rose had four threes tonight, just four layups, nine total jumpers. He did his damage outside of the paint.
