Flash
I'll be there tonight. I think we should use the same gameplan that we used vs. Phoenix. Get Bosh into a rhythm early. He should have a favorable matchup tonight so I expect him to go to work early and often. The LeBron/Wallace matchup should be fun to watch as well.

kingfish
This one could get ugly. Bobcats are a physical team, they always wreck Lebron. Gerald Wallace needs to go ape [expletive] if they are gonna win.

Brown will probably look to play Tyrus a little more tonight, and he's no scrub on defense. Putting Thomas on Bosh, Jackson on LeBron and Wallace on Wade (or switch Jackson to Wade)...I'm not sure how easy this game is going to be for the Heat. Charlotte can't score, though, so that's probably what it will come down to. Charlotte's two weaknesses are at point and center. Same with Miami's. It'll come down to defense. Charlotte could have some unexpected scoring up front, but I doubt they will recognize that.

Flash
Lol @ the cavs comment. We had Bosh doing very well for us and was actually the go to guy down the stretch. Wade played a terrible game but I'm not sure if it was because he was hurt or not. LBJ played great as well but struggled late with his jumper. Its cool though. Keep finding ways to make sarcastic comments about the team you happen to be obsessed with right now.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 20, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 20, 2010 Why would that even piss you off? The Cavs were winning 60+ games a year, with LeBron owning the city and putting up near triple-doubles. They were in the Finals in 2007. I could've called you guys the Atlanta Hawks. You have the same record as they do.
Flash
All childish bull[expletive] aside now.. Jut found out Wade was on IV's before the game because he's dealing with the flu. That explains his performance tonight I guess as he looked really sluggish out there. Heard he may not make the trip to Memphis so no one else gets sick. Owner Real Deal Posted November 20, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 20, 2010 All childish bull[expletive] aside now..You would suck as a Lakers fan. You would've NEVER survived our bad season in 2004-05, or Kobe's trial, guaranteed. You can't even handle someone criticizing LeBron, for ANY reason, ever, and you would seriously fight anyone to the death, just like some of those old Cavaliers fans. From now on, I'll be really nice, and I won't say things to make you upset and throw childish temper-tantrums. Nobody better, never, ever call the Heat the Cavaliers again, not on my watch. The HEAT (non-Cavs) are so good. They won tonight, despite dropping a huge lead (probably because the Cats started playing the best basketball they've played in the history of their franchise), and Wade didn't contribute because he had the flu. Bosh played really well. LeBron was on cruise control. Spo should be fired. This team could be so damn good with Riley, probably top of the conference right now. I don't care what type of Laker fan I'd make lol. I've survived plenty of bad seasons as a Heat fan and I'm sure there will be more as time goes on and as for the LBJ thing. I'm only defending the guy because not only does he play for my favorite team, but some people on here would bash the guy for breathing the wrong way if they could. I got on him about his comment about his minutes a week ago and said "The Decision" was done poorly. What else has he really done since he's been in Miami that would be considered bad? Lol @ the Greg Oden thread and trying to turn a simple typo into some huge reason as to why he's a bad dude.
Owner Real Deal Posted November 20, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 20, 2010 You were upset about his comment because you knew it was a ridiculous thing to say, especially when he stated a week before that he would play 48 minutes a game if he could. But I'm pretty sure you didn't mind him throwing Spo under the bus in the process. You can't prove to me that it was a typo, so don't bother calling it one. If he can't stop his finger from moving down to type the "L" (which wouldn't make sense as a typo), LeBron either has Tourette's, or he calls him Olden on a regular basis and did it on purpose. Bad decision, as usual. Nobody cares what you would really be like as a Lakers fan. You know what the point was. Unless LeBron is your father or uncle, there's no point in flipping out when he does something stupid and people call him out on it. As a fan, it's your job to support him, but it's also your job to deal with it if you're going to support him. Telling people they are obsessed with your team, and that we die to watch them...sorry, it's not like that. You have problems with people taking shots at LeBron? How do you think we feel about your obsession with him from June to October and November? How do you think we felt when we turned on the TV and heard how this team is going to win seven consecutive titles? Yeah, you were eating it up. You wanted a sig of the big three. You were super-excited about the pre-championship parade/party they held. You were pumped about the Heat Index, and the constant updates and ESPN following each Heat practice, as if it were USA Basketball all over again. Now that you guys aren't the best team in the league, or in the East, LeBron said some stupid things and Bosh isn't even playing as good as Odom, you're pissed that people are jumping on that? Haha...it's just like I said.

But I'm pretty sure you didn't mind him throwing Spo under the bus in the process. I wasn't upset..I just didn't agree with it. I also think Spo sucks so I'll agree with any Spo bashing on here. That's been established for a while now. You can't prove to me that it was a typo, so don't bother calling it one. I'm not flipping out either, I'm trying to have a discussion about the game but the random, meaningless Heat articles and bashing threads get old, quick. That's to the people who post about every little thing about our franchise. From the players to the fans it hasn't stopped since July. People all across the world were interested in wherever the guy was going and not one person on here said anything about this team winning 7 titles. Although I do remember someone talking about if LeBron were on the Lakers they'd easily beat the Bulls record and go undefeated in the playoffs. Yeah, you were eating it up. You wanted a sig of the big three. You were super-excited about the pre-championship parade/party they held. Haha...it's just like I said. Of course I was pumped. My team just signed arguably the best player in the world. What did you expect? Are the fans supposed to do nothing at all? I thought the Heat index was stupid, but ESPN has also done that for the Lakers before. But I'm sure it was cool then. We're 12 games in lol. No one knows who's the best team in the league yet because its that early. We've played a total of 12 games together. I'd say we're doing just fine at 8-4 with losses to 3 decent teams. That's fine that Bosh isn't playing as well as Odom right now. I think Bosh will be just fine. Odom is having a great start to his season, I don't think anyone would deny that. Just as bad. And that person wasn't me. I thought the Heat index was stupid, but ESPN has also done that for the Lakers before. But I'm sure it was cool then.ESPN Los Angeles isn't for the Lakers, specifically, it's for the city and sports teams in it. Sorry. We're 12 games in lol.And when we weren't even in the preseason yet, you voted the team would win four or five titles in six seasons. You also voted that the Heat would be the champs this season. http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/topic/17692-miami-heat-questions Don't be so mad people are judging your team after 12 games. You were judging them in September.
Flash
Four or five titles in six seasons, my bad. Just as bad. And that person wasn't me. Found this gem a while back lol Kobe, LeBron and Gasol would set the league record for regular season wins, easily, if they stayed healthy...and they would more than likely go 16-0, especially when the Lakers went 15-1 back in 2001, and they did pretty damn good in 2009 as well, despite having issues with a two-headed Rockets team that completely flipped the switch on their style of play. I couldn't imagine Kobe and LeBron on the same team TODAY. Adding Gasol would be a nightmare for the league. But yeah, the Heat fans went over the top. And when we weren't even in the preseason yet, you voted the team would win four or five titles in six seasons. You also voted that the Heat would be the champs this season. And? We've got 2 of the best players in the world, a great player in Bosh and will only be able to improve the roster next season with the MLE. Yeah, I think once this team gets going they can be real good.
Flash
For the record, I have no problem with you, or anyone on this site. Its fine to disagree on basketball related stuff and even player related stuff. My only problem is that blatant stuff like the things I've mentioned only takes away from the basketball discussion on this site. And that's not good for OTR. Owner Real Deal Posted November 20, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted November 20, 2010 A 2009 post. I never said anything like that after he made his decision to go to Miami. Here's your quote... People all across the world were interested in wherever the guy was going and not one person on here said anything about this team winning 7 titles. Although I do remember someone talking about if LeBron were on the Lakers they'd easily beat the Bulls record and go undefeated in the playoffs.I assumed you were talking about post-decision. Kobe, LeBron and Gasol are all three different players. Gasol is a legit post. Kobe can shoot the ball. LeBron drives. It was a legitimate comment. LeBron, Wade and Bosh are all the same player, just at different heights. Again, you're circling around the point. Don't get pissed as us analyzing this team at 12 games when you were doing it before a single preseason game was played.

Now you're sounding like Poe, who was also a Heat fan. Takes away from basketball discussion? This game topic was a single-page discussion until I called the Heat the old Cavaliers (which is actually funny, because they really did look like it out there). Maybe we'll all just shut up and stop talking about the Heat, altogether, and let you guys talk Heat basketball from now on.
