On a more depressing note, tonight marks the one year anniversary of Abe Pollin's death, apparently the team will honor him before tip off.

Ugh, I didn't think his injury would be this bad, but I guess they're just trying to be careful with him.

Haha, Philly visited Washington on November 2 and lost 116-115 in OT, and today, they go to D.C. and lose 116-114 in OT.

And both featured epic choke jobs. At least the Sixers make it interesting when they blow it.

Yeah he did, you could see how intense he was in the fourth when him and Speights got into it.

 

Very impressed with how Wall dominated the game in the 2nd half after a lackluster first half. He looked so passive and lacked his normal explosiveness, but he did something I didn't expect of him this early on in his career, which was relying on his competitive nature and hitting 3's. He played with emotion and it sparked the rally. Emotion is such a huge part of the game, and he allowed his perceived weakness become a strength down the stretch of the game. That's special.

 

And watch out for McGee, he's finally coming around. You know this when I'm starting to give him praise (I'm easily one of his biggest critics). He's finally getting his stamina together and is getting stronger, but more importantly, he's understanding the game more. His instincts are more keen than I've ever seen of him. He still makes mistakes on rotations and going for blocks while leaving the lanes open, but he's becoming a consistent outlet for penetrating guards, and he's flashing to the FT line and making the right plays when he gets the ball. Defensively, he's deterring guards from coming down the lanes and making bigs shoot more perimeter jumpers. His impact on the floor has been startling.

 

Nick is starting to play with focus on a nightly basis now. I have no problem with him when he plays under control like he’s doing now he has every offensive move in the book he can create a shot anytime he wants and he’s hitting his 3’s consistently. This clutch game winner could do wonders for his confidence moving forward.
