Cleveland's Finest
This begins possibly the biggest two game swing of the season. 2 games at home against Miami and Boston. We are 7-9. A win against both brings us at 9-9 and gives us two quality wins and we then go on a three game road trip against Minnesota, Detroit, and Philly. Going 1-1 is solid but I would really like to see us win both and go on a huge run from there. I'm very excited to see the Cavs this week. It's going to be a big week and this is position we may not have very often in the future. JJ must continue to produce like he did in the last home game against Memphis. Most importantly, Mo needs to set the pace for the starting rotation and be the shot maker and distributor. Go Cavs!
Cleveland's Finest
That was such a lifeless performance. JJ continues to be the most inconsistent player in the league. Verajao is the only player who played at his best. We were up 17-8, then 23-20 to end the first, and then Boston took control. We made it a single digit game in the third, but Boston got what they wanted whenever they wanted it. It was a layup fest, and this is what I don't want to see from the Cavs. They played well when they ran up and down and pushed the ball, but that seemed to stop completely after the first six minutes of the game. This is the worst thing possible that could've happened before the game Thursday and it leaves me feeling like I watched a wasted chance tonight. *Swish*
Celtics had an easy win tonight despite having a bad start trailing 17 to 8 in the first quarter, they made a run and didn't give up finishing by beating the Cleveland Cavaliers by 19 points (106-87). varejao is the only one who I saw playing good defense and good offense. This guy is always hustling and that's what I like about him. Hickson had a horrible game despite his 11 boards and finished with only 1 point. Expected way more from Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison but I guess the Celtics are too good on the defensive end.
