N.1.A.K.
who knew Gallinari could do that?
Erick Blasco
Gallo's been very assertive on offense, and Urden is late on a reverse dunk. Meanwhile, KG posts Chandler and misses a short hook about four-feet away. That's the problem with the Celtics. KG's not very reliable in the post. fish7718
This is awesome, everytime Boston draws it back to close we go on quick 7-10 point runs!

Erick Blasco
The Knicks put so much pressure on defenses with their spacing. Ray Allen has to wait when he's splitting on defense to see who he's covering because Boston's defense is in extreme rotation, and each player on that side can shoot with a quick release. Erick Blasco
Of course Davis comes in to the game and picks up a steal. He matches up very well on New York's screen/rolls
fish7718
Paul Pierce gets up yelling at the ref about how he deserves 2 shots, not only does he not get a tech, but he gets the 2 shots? I wish we got that treatment.
Erick Blasco
And Davis and Robinson team up to stymie another Knicks screen/roll.
Erick Blasco
Davis great job staying in front of Stoudemire on an iso forcing a bad miss.
Erick Blasco
Stoudemire doesn't bother showing on a screen/roll, Pierce gets a wide open look that he misses. It's defense like that that will let the Celtics back into the game.
*Swish*
Damn we're still in the third and look at the Knicks stats: Amare 27 points 8 rebounds, Felton 14 points 10 assists, Chandler 16 points 9 rebounds. WOW great efforts so far for NYC
Erick Blasco
KG posts, Davis great cut to the basket, good interior pass and a layup. Then Davis plays great defense on a Gallo drive, forces a miss.
Erick Blasco
Pierce with a big time finish. Should've been a plus-one, and the Knicks come right back down with a Stoudemire dunk.
fish7718
Pierce can scream at the refs all he wants, hell he will prolly have to punch a ref to get a tech at this point...

fish7718
Pierce with a big time finish. Should've been a plus-one, I believe they call that a make up call...
Erick Blasco
Turiaf not withstanding, New York's defense is much worse when its bench plays. Douglas gets a ton of steals, but he's constantly reaching and gambling. This time, he picks up a bad foul on Paul Pierce when he's shooting a jumper. Erick Blasco
If you are in Brooklyn, why are you watching crappy ESPN over MSG? Because there are no color guys better than JVG. It's a substantial jump from Clyde to JVG.

Erick Blasco
For those not watching, Rondo turned his left ankle pretty badly. He may be done for the game. I'd be shocked if he came back. Nate Robinson has played terrific today though. Great defense, he just hits a three, and when the Knicks give up the baseline, he explodes and draws a foul.
