Check my Stats
What Demar was able to do in the 3rd is why the offense needs to run through him more often, he keeps showing glimpses but he just gets lost in the mix too often. The team as a whole needs to look for him more, he needs to be allowed to chuck and play through misses. When he has confidence he is pretty fun to watch. We have too many guys we're trying to get minutes, our rotations are wack as hell and Demar keeps getting lost in the mix.
*Swish*
Well.. it was a good game for us. We played well and we had some really good efforts here and there. DeMar DeRozan had a really powerful 3rd quarter and helped our team get back in it. He created a lot of fouls and scored around 20 points in this quarter.. maybe because Kobe wasn't defending him. I like what Dorsey did against Pau Gasol defensively and the efforts for the offensive glass.. Too bad El Mago didn't play.. this would maybe be a different story with more boards and 20 to 30 more points on the Raptors stats sheet. The Lakers played to their full potential for maybe 10 minutes this entire game. They were coasting all game long and only played like they are capable of whenever the Raptors cut their lead to around 6 points. They coasted for 90% of the game and were still in complete control for basically the entire game and won this easily. Besides, if Bargnani dresses, Johnson probably doesn't have the game that he had, Dorsey certainly doesn't have the game that he had, etc... You can't just say that Bargnani playing equals 20 more points on the board because those points would come at the expense of others. Having him would've helped, no doubt about that, but the Raptors were losing this game regardless. The Lakers are simply the vastly superior team.
