The Goods
There was the beef between LeBron James and DeShawn Stevenson and the remarks about Soulja Boy; the "crab dribble"; and now Washington Wizards fans have something else to mention to James when the Cleveland Cavaliers play in Washington this coming season. Wizards coach Flip Saunders, in an interview with The Washington Examiner, had some fun with this comment before the Wizards defeated the Cavaliers in summer league action Tuesday in Las Vegas. Saunders, a Cuyahoga Heights native, told The Examiner: "Is LeBron [James] playing?" said Saunders. "We might have someone who can dunk on him, I don't know." Saunders was of course joking about the Jordan Crawford dunk on James during the LeBron James Skills Academy two weeks ago in Akron. In a related development, Nike is in the process of trying to have Saunders' comments purged from the Internet and has confiscated the notebook of the reporter who wrote down the quote. http://www.cleveland.com/ohio-sports-blog/index.ssf/2009/07/new_washington_wizards_coach_f.html

Cleveland's Finest
Flip Saunders is preparing himself for a first round exit. Nothing like optimism though. If the Cavs face Washington in round one, it won't be pretty.
Dr. Feelgood
I love the Wizards much much more than the Cavs. Gilbert and Caron are awesome.

If the Cavs face Washington in round one, it won't be pretty. If we lose to the Cavs in the first round, it will be off of a 9 step travelling layup gamewinner from LeCrab. Is Nike SERIOUSLY trying to confiscate EVERY bad thing said about Lebron?? What the hell...? This is starting to make me look at the NBA much more negatively.... Cleveland's Finest
Flip has nothing better to do than trash the team that prevented his Pistons from going to the finals. First we roughed em' up for Miami to beat them in 06, then we beat them in the ECF in 07. He's brought his "winning" ways to Washington I see. Wall2Wall
Flip has nothing better to do than trash the team that prevented his Pistons from going to the finals. First we roughed em' up for Miami to beat them in 06, then we beat them in the ECF in 07.And then you choked big time in the Finals because your best player is overrated. Congratulations.
