he's a dick to Sager too, but Sager is funnier about it since they both know he is joking around

I worded that wrong, I know he is a dick to Sager, but usually he will start laughing or smile to show that he is clearly just messing around or whatever. He doesn't seem to be joking around with the other interviewers and genuinely seems to want to tell them to just [expletive] off and leave him alone.

This Heat team is absolutely unstoppable in transition. If you turn the ball over or take a bad shot and allow them to get out and run, you are compltely screwed.

Their defense today has been top notch as well. They have done an awesome job on Kobe and Gasol while not allowing many good looks to the Lakers shooters because of how quickly they are closing out.

The Lakers have missed some easy looks and haven't played as well as they usually do, but a lot of credit should go to the Heat for their play. They have simply outworked, outhustled and outplayed the Lakers for the entire game (or at least all of the game that Ive seen).

Atta boy Heat. Very happy with this team. 49 out of 50 states said the Lakers would win, everyone said the Lakers would toss us around in the post and make us look like little girls. We have come in to LA, and dismantled the Lakers offense. Very proud of this team.

Yeah it was just a regular season loss but it's still a loss. Kobe is a winner. He doesn't want to lose. I really want the Lakers to meet the Heat in playoffs. Kobe will prove doubters wrong

losses don't mean anything in the regular season

Kobe has no doubters....the Heat havwe doubters. Kobe doesn't have much more to prove.

Heat will be considered the best team in the playoffs. Especially after this horrible game. Kobe will prove Lakers are capable of three-peat against tougher opponents than last year

If losses don't mean anything in the regular season, then how come everyone on this site has been on the back of the Heat and how they can't beat the great teams in the NBA?

I agree that this loss doesn't mean anything for the Lakers. They were embarassed last year as well. But come on, if losses don't mean anything in the regular season then apply that same logic to the Heat and not just the Lakers.

The Heat aren't even the best team in the east, by no means will they be the favorites.

I was hoping it was implied. Losses only matter to teams that aren't established because you never know how good they CAN be. We have seen how good the Heat CAN be, so at this point, a loss doesn't even matter for the Heat in the regular season. You have to realize that a lot of people that were talking [expletive] about the Heat were just saying it because they wanted it to be true. The only team that Miami has looked weak against is Boston. We already know they can dominate LA, Orlando, etc. LA has the same core as the past few years, and we know they can dominate.

Exactly, its December. I don't know why people were so hyped up for this game, the Lakers NEVER deliver before the all star break

You really don't know why?

1. Christmas day

2. Kobe, Pau, Odom Wade, LeBron, Bosh

3. First meeting between potential conference representatives in the finals

Everything in the regular season is win loss but I definitely think these guys were extremely hyped up about making a statement. You beat the champs it's a huge chip on your shoulder so I do think it's a bit more significant from a teams stand point as they move deeper into the season.

Lakers are obviously going to be fine, but Kobe being the competitor that he is will not look at it as "just another loss" it's one I am sure he wanted badly.

Lol, the mighty excuse train has arrived. Let me just get the good ones out of the way here before they start:

1. Its just a regular season game

2. The Lakers don't try until the playoffs

3. Bynum isn't healthy yet

Merry Christmas everyone :).
