ChosenOne
Hopefully Kevin Martin decides to show up tonight. I also would like to see how Paterson plays againts Aldridge tonight if they find themselves one on one at some point.
AboveLegit
Rockets cannot close out games at all. They deserved to lose this one after going ice cold from the field in the fourth, they didn't score a FG for what, 8 minutes?
ChosenOne
Rockets cannot close out games at all. They deserved to lose this one after going ice cold from the field in the fourth, they didn't score a FG for what, 8 minutes? [expletive]ing 9 minutes. Last game everyone showed up but Martin didn't, today Martin showed up and everyone else decided not to. If seems like we are back to stage one as consistency once again is no where to be seen. Dash
Kevin Martin with 45 points on 17 shots? Holy...
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Martin went off. Didn't really matter, though, because there's nobody on the Rockets that can stop Aldridge. This is where they miss Yao the most.
htown11
Choke job no other way to put it. Jordan Hill showed his rawness and I mean that in a negative way tonight..... He couldn't finish on two huge plays where he got the offensive rebound. Also [expletive] Brad Miller tonight what was that fool thinking? He doesn't get a foul call so he does what he has done best his whole career and that's [expletive] to the officials. Luckily no tech was called, then he comes back tries to drive in (why the hell is Brad Miller driving in..?) and gets owned. Obviously Brad thinks he got fouled so he [expletive]es some more and gets the tech. Between all this crap from the old man that thought he could drive down a lane the Blazers get back to back threes.... This game really pissed me off more than normal. Martin had such a brilliant night and really looked like a superstar and the Rockets still find a way to lose. I MISS YOU CHUCK HAYES... homo no homo whatevaaa he would have made Aldridges life a bit harder.

Dr. Feelgood
Only a bit harder but not much. Aldridge has been stepping up in Roy's absence and I'm loving it. Kudos to Nate for sticking with Patty Mills, Rudy Fernandez, Nicolas Batum, Dante Cunningham, and LaMarcus Aldridge down the stretch of the 4th quarter. Dre Mill, Matthews, and Camby didn't come back until it got down to a free throw contest. Freaking Patty Mills, wow. 14 points on 5-9 shooting and 4-7 from behind the arc. Rudy hit a tough tough shot with the shot clock winding down to put the Blazers in the lead for good. Great close by the Blazers.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 I just finished watching the fourth quarter of the game. Aldridge had some easy baskets that quarter, dropped about 12-14 points if I recall correctly, and missed just one shot that I can remember. And that last play going to Lee...I don't like it. Houston has to find a way to free up Martin. They can't depend on him getting open by himself, not on the last play of a game. He needs help. Nestle Snipes
Aldridge is playing out of his dome, I traded for him in fantasy a few weeks ago and got laughed at, I'm the only one laughing now as I dumptruck the opposition. :glasses:
