Cobb
If any Lakers were catching a late nap b4 tonight's game in Phoenix, they're up now (hotel fire alarm test).http://twitter.com/#!/LakersReporter Haha.
kingfish
I totally forgot VC and Gortat were on the Suns now. Its weird seeing them in Suns uniforms.
Erick Blasco
Artest has to shoot the ball as soon as he catches it. He's open. He doesn't need to take a step in. He's much better shooting set than he is pulling up.
Erick Blasco
I like attacking Carter in the post with Artest. Flash him to the box in the Triangle, let the cutters cut through, and destroy VC one-on-one.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Why does this team look like they are sleepy and bored? I don't get it. They don't even look like they want to play. Stupid. We'll see how big of a mistake this is when they lose HCA to about 3-4 teams at the end of the season. Erick Blasco
Bynum was a little tentative finishing there. He was open but took too much time gathering his bearings and got fouled.
Erick Blasco
Artest stands still, sets, hits a three. Much better Ron. Good passwork by Kobe and Fisher.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Gasol needs to JUMP and contest that shot.
Erick Blasco
Gasol didn't even bother trying to run out to Lopez. That's lazy.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Grant Hill traveled there, but regardless, that was a good move. The pick and roll can kill the Lakers tonight. Phoenix will win this game if they continue to expose those mismatches.
Erick Blasco
Kobe gambled to get over a developing screen and got beaten by Hill---but Gasol has to do a better job of staying in front of Hill and not getting destroyed off the dribble. Bad defense by both players.
Erick Blasco
Good use of the jab to create a half step of separation by Kobe. Some defenders can hang with that, but Hill has to drop step back. Kobe gets too much space for Phoenix to contest his jumper.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 You'd think Lopez could at least partially contain Drew without fouling him. He's not that bad of a defensive player (compared to a handful of other centers in the league), but it just seems he's scared, or something. There's that PNR again. Erick Blasco
That's something Gortat does well, he rolls better than Lopez.

Erick Blasco
That's good vision...cross court along the baseline, I didn't know Artest could do that.
Erick Blasco
I don't mind the Fisher turnover. Let him forcefeed the post to get LA"s bigs going.
Erick Blasco
Good show by Bynum on the screen by Nash.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Sitting Kobe with three minutes to go in the quarter? I really don't like that. EDIT: Nevermind, Odom is doing good.

Lkr
Artest should just keep the ball moving. He's an offensive black hole
Erick Blasco
Sitting Kobe with three minutes to go in the quarter? I really don't like that. EDIT: Nevermind, Odom is doing good. I think Kobe's normal rest period is from around the 3 minute mark of the 1st to about the 7 minute mark of the second. It's going to be a fast paced game, might be good to steal an extra minute of rest.
