Erick Blasco
That's a bad shot by Brown---there's no need to put up a contested jumper.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Wow, just keep the ball in Kobe's hands, please. Let him make the plays.

Erick Blasco
Good pass by Gasol. He was off balance and still put that ball on target into Blake's shooting pocket. That's not a good pass, that's a great pass.

Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Good pass by Gasol. He was off balance and still put that ball on target into Blake's shooting pocket. That's not a good pass, that's a great pass.If Blake could make more of those, we'd be a much better team. He's a big deal when he's out on the court. Phil would like for him to knock down those jumpers, since Fisher and Artest have been bricking shots lately.
Erick Blasco
I love how Kobe's playing on offense. He's making really smart basketball plays. Everything he's doing is within the flow of the offense.

The Regime
I hate how Kobe slowed it down off the steal, that was a fastbreak oppertunity that we should have capitalized on. Lakers have no flow on offense whatsoever.

The Regime
Good defense guys, good defense. <_< Edit: Can someone explain to me why Luke Walton is in the game? Edited January 6, 2011 by Confidence
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Drew has to step up on that PNR.
Erick Blasco
You know Walton played at the U of A when the crowd chants LUUUUUKKKEEEE after he makes a jumper.
Sun Tzu
Carter is giving Phoenix nothing right now. Yeah, I'm not liking how he is playing right now. On the other hand, the Suns are getting things done right now!
Erick Blasco
I love how Carter jumped past the rebound there allowing Artest to grab the loose ball. Good defense by Nash to bail Phoenix out. Why is Artest shooting a step back jumper though? That's terrible offense.
Erick Blasco
Yeah, I'm not liking how he is playing right now. On the other hand, the Suns are getting things done right now! Yeah, cause Dudley is out of his mind!
Erick Blasco
Gasol posts, draws a double, good pass work, good attack by Kobe, good offense. The Lakers need to shore up their perimeter defense though. Their offense is playing well.
Erick Blasco
Bynum has to recognize the double and skip the ball.
Erick Blasco
Bynum's moving very well on defense. This is encouraging for the Lakers moving forward.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Down one at the half. I know Phoenix can expose our weaknesses more than any other team in the NBA, but they aren't a good defensive team, and they are getting way, way too much from Dudley. Most of those shots are wide-open threes. No excuses. We should be up by ten right now.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Mullin talking about Phil Jackson teams being able to defend the three, but not tonight? The problem would be the mismatches and the pick and rolls. Otherwise, the Lakers usually always defend the three well. In fact, the Lakers have been one of the worst teams at defending the PNR since the Kobe/Shaq days.
