Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Vince got Kobe on the arm, but oh well. The Lakers don't really communicate that well on defense. Part of that is Gasol's fault.
ChosenOne
Glad to see Kobe finally shooting well. The Suns are still very much in it, Lakers need to keep their foot on the gas.

Erick Blasco
See I don't like that shot by Kobe. He turns down an open three to drive into a drifting jump shot. If you're going to drive, drive straight to the basket and pop, don't drive left and drift.
The Regime
Poor shot selection by Kobe on the last two possessions.
The Regime
And I thought the defensive effort for the Lakers was poor.....
Erick Blasco
Kobe's putting faith in his teammates, and they're rewarding him. Very mature game by Kobe minus his last two shots.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 6, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 6, 2011 Ron takes 8 seconds to take a wide-open jumper, lol.
Erick Blasco
Ron takes 8 seconds to take a wide-open jumper, lol. Even worse, Phoenix had 8 seconds to try closing out and never did.
Erick Blasco
Carter's not strong enough! He needs to secure that rebound to give the Suns a chance!

Lemon
Is Artest going to be a Fisher type of player; making plays only when it matters? He had a good foul, good shot, good rebound all to bring momentum back to the Lakers in these final minutes. Not the only time he's made clutch plays. Erick Blasco
Frye off a pindown, that's a very tough play to contest with Frye's release.
ChosenOne
Role players coming up big here for LA first Artest and then Fish.
Erick Blasco
Great recognition by Gasol knowing he needed to close out hard on Carter to secure the win. Gasol's poor offense is concerning, but this was a good win by the Lakers.
ChosenOne
Lol damn who was that fan yelling at? Fish or Gasol?
The Regime
Wow, Pau actually made a defensive impact. And what's even funnier is that he celebated after the block. Kobe dribbled himself into some trouble though, he made some poor plays down the stretch. But overall a good game out of him tonight. Sun Tzu
Ron takes 8 seconds to take a wide-open jumper, lol. Gosh, I hate that Someone is bound to be able to leave their man and go get him. I'm pretty sure the time Artest waits to take a shot, Nash would be able to get the ball up the court and take a shot.
