What do you expect though. Jamison has been one of the most overrated players in the league for a decade. He used to put up empty numbers all over the place but he can't produce against a good defense and neither can Mo Williams. Now that the only player who plays with heart is injured, the Cavs can't produce. They're a disaster.

finally, someone mentions this. there are too many people who think Cleveland should have won the title last year, but I try telling them they'd never win against Boston. Jamison and Williams are ineffective against good defenders. there's no way they were going to outplay KG or Rondo in that series. sure, they had LeBron, but that doesn't really mean much when they're weaker at all other positions than the opposing team.

Best fan bases? Are you serious? No one went to the games when we sucked. This is a football city. No one cares about the Cavs now...you only see fans there because we had to buy season tickets last year.

I just assumed they always had a good fanbase considering their attendance during the LeBron years. if it was weak before then, though, that would have been even more reason for Stern to give them the first pick. he probably wanted to revive that fanbase and giving them James would have been the most effective option.
