CaliCurbStomppa
I hope Bynum suck [expletive] tonight so they can trade him for Melo
Finch23
Maybe some of you Lakers fans can explain to me why trading Bynum for Melo is such a good idea. IMO the size of the Lakers front court is what makes them so damn good. Giving up Bynum would make their front court pretty thin, and would force Odom into a starting role not allowing him to be that spark off the bench. Bynum is a young promising center and the Lakers are back to back champions, why go for so a high risk/high reward trade especially since they don't know if Melo would sign and extension. Not the right discussion to be talking in but nonetheless I will express my views on this trade anyways. The Lakes have a better record playing without Bynum period. Also it's about time to start thinking Laker basketball as in when Kobe retires who can carry that torch that Kobe can pass down too. It probably does decreases our chances of repeating this year but I don't think so by that much. Imagine the problems it will cause other teams with 4 All Stars in the lineup. Odom might have not got selected as a All Star but make no mistake he's playing at an All Star level which would have the lineup as Kobe, Carmelo, Odom, & Gasol. There is possibly no way you can double or leave any of those guys open. Also it will create havoc down the stretches of games when they are close and that we could possibly have the game's two best finisher's in the NBA. I also have no doubt Carmelo would pick up the triangle offense faster then Artest. Only problem I do see with the trade is what you exactly we will lose size but nonetheless I pull the trigger it's not everyday you can add a top 5 player to your roster. And as far as that extension goes according to Chris Broussard from ESPN he said if Melo were to get traded to LA he would sign that extension due to LA also being another big market and that he just recently bought a house in Malibu last summer. AboveLegit
I see the Lakers winning, too many injuries for the Celtics, and I just think LA wants it more. Whatever team controls the glass will win the game.

The Regime
Ray Allen to make 2 3-pointers to break the record in the first 2 minutes. Newman
Good tactic by Doc Rivers to get Allen into the flow first by making him run curls for easy 2-pointers. No way can Fisher get close to him then.
AboveLegit
Damn the Garden was about to explode if Ray made that three, hopefully he gets it soon so he doesn't have to worry about it throughout the game.
