If a player doesn't get to the free throw line, he can shoot 30 shots to get 30 points...going 15/30 and shooting a very impressive 50% from the floor. There are a lot of bigs that put up 8-10 shots a game, and score just as many points...but nobody says anything about it because that big man is shooting 50% or better in the season, and he's also not in the spotlight and under the microscope.
