Guest N/A
Bargnani out, nice. Dirk was out the last time we played ya'll so this is payback http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif
Guest N/A
Mavs are playing tired. They've gotta put the back to back behind them and just play basketball.
Guest N/A
This is ridiculous. We can't play offense or defense right now.
Guest N/A
It'd be weird if Toronto sweeps the season series against us, but we sweep the season series against the Celtics, Heat, and others.
Guest N/A
10-2 run was nice, we were still down 22-3 at one point though. Inexcusable.
Guest N/A
Our reserves have gotten us back in the game, it's 21-28 thanks to them.
Built Ford Tough
Dirk was out the last time we played ya'll so this is payback http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif Bargnani missed the first game too. DeRozan gets no love from refs. I know that he is taking some dumb, off balance shots in this quarter but a foul is a foul. Nice move by Bayless to end the quarter. That was a nasty cross over on Barea. Lucky that he got the and 1, though as I definitely think that was a charge and not a block.
Built Ford Tough
Is there a member of the Raptors who understands the concept of help defense? God this team is pathetic. Speaking of pathetic, I think Ajinca is worse than Alabi. The guy is the definition of a scrub. Built Ford Tough
If DeRozan is still in the game after this commercial break, I sense a first career ejection coming up for him. He looks ready to snap on the refs. Can't say I blame him, though. He has gotten absolutely no calls from what I have seen (2nd half) in this game. Guest N/A
Mavs allowed 39 points in the 2nd half, solid defense all-around. Even Dirk played decent defense http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif

Built Ford Tough
James Johnson. Lets wait more than 3 games before giving him credit for anything. Jerryd Bayless looked amazing in his first couple weeks as a Raptor as well and now he looks like a borderline NBA player. (I wasn't actually serious with that comment you are quoting, though. I know the Raptors have two players that are solid help defenders in Amir and Davis, with JJ having the potential to be another).

Built Ford Tough
Get Bayless out of here, he's terrible. What they should do is give him some actual consistent minutes to actually see what he can do. Colangelo talks about how this season is about rebuilding and developing the young guys (and he constantly mentions DeRozan, Davis, Amir and Bayless as those young guys), and yet Bayless plays only 15 minutes a night and Calderon is still getting nearly 38 minutes a night. That does nobody any good at all. Give the guy some minutes to actually see if he is a reliable piece heading forward or if they should throw him to the curb. These minor things with the younger players should be the primary focus for the rest of the season, but I don't see that happening unfortunately.
