Cleveland's Finest
http://www.nbaloud.com/images/jamario-moon1.jpg The Cleveland Cavaliers have continued their offseason remodeling by signing restricted free agent Jamario Moon to an offer sheet. Full details of the offer sheet are unlikely to be known until Monday, when the contract is submitted to the league office, but sources told ESPN.com that the deal spans two guaranteed years. The Miami Heat will have seven days to match the offer once it's formally processed, but Cleveland would appear to have a good chance of landing Moon given Miami's well-chronicled desire to avoid new contracts longer than one year to protect its 2010 salary-cap space. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that the Cavs have about $3.2 million left of their $5.9 million mid-level exception that they can use in whole or part to sign Moon. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4339432 DAMN! kingfish
Cavs better not get too much help, when they lose then people cant blame it on Lebrons teammates
Legacy
I think the Heat will match this offer.
Cleveland's Finest
Why? They are trying to get Odom.
Legacy
Don't know, always thought that Wade really liked Moon, but that's a good point.
A.K.
This sucks for Cleveland. Takes them out of the Matt Barnes sweepstakes. Looks like it's down to Orlando and Dallas.
Cleveland's Finest
Lol...it sucks? Moon is much more athletic than Barnes, and we didn't even have a guy like Moon before. Now we have a 6-6 and 6-8 wing players in Parker and Moon. Sure, Moon has faults, but this guy won't play that much minutes. He provides height for certain matchups. He's a solid blocker and dunker. He can even shoot the 3.(35 % career)
A.K.
Barnes > Moon any day of the week. I think he must have narrowed down his choice to Dallas and Orlando so you guys went with plan B.
Cleveland's Finest
Last season, Moon had a better field goal and 3 pt. shooting percentage. Also, he averaged more steals and blocks per game. Also, he is more than 100 points better than Barnes at the free throw line. And he did all that playing less minutes per game than Barnes. Moon is also taller than Barnes. Our offense is very prolific, we just need him for height. We'll have LeBron, Mo, Shaq, Parker on the court, or Parker, Z, Mo, West, Moon, etc.....There's enough offense there. Multi-Billionaire
I'll take Moon over gangsta wannabe Barnes. That guy is never focused on a team but himself (how many fights was he involved in a Suns jersey alone?). Moon is a solid all around talent and a great teammate. He is also the better defender, he's better than Barnes at everything! But this move puzzled me, don't the Cavs have enough wings? Moon is the next Trevor Ariza. His Greatness
Give me Barnes' hustle, energy, toughness and offensive versatility over Moon's overzealous defense and brutal shot selection. Moon is a super athlete, but I prefer better basketball players. At least Cleveland would finally add some athleticism. Doc
Moon was great in his rooke season because no one thought he be any good. Once people started to say stuff about him, and then he started to get it to his head. The guy takes terrible shots, he should not be taking the 3. His best offense is slashing to the basket but he never did that. He falls in love with the jumper but the jumper doesn't love him. Defense is alright but he takes alot of risks. I rather take Barnes, and 3.2 for Moon is alot
The Goods
Solid off-season for the Cavs picking up two role players in Parker and Moon.
Flash
If we don't get Odom then I'm positive we'll match this.

TheHutch
Hopefully the Heat don't match this...only a few days left!
Sun Tzu
I don't see the Heat matching this anyway.
Flash
I don't see why you guys would be excited over Parker. Seems like a role player who only got PT in Toronto because of a serious lack of depth at the wing.
A.K.
Orlando, Boston, Cleveland. The Cavs have made all the wrong moves this summer.
OldChili
Solid pickup for the Cavs, adds depth to their roster.
Cleveland's Finest
Official we got him. All his job will be is to defend and he probably won't play much if at all some games. Not having a big role is good for Moon imo. And knowing LeBron will probably be on the court when he is means Moon can get some sick alley oops.
