Owner Real Deal Posted March 12, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 Except this Cavs team has Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on it. That's the WOAT analogy to ever use with this team. When did the Cavs also have the number 5 scorer in the NBA as well?ISO LeBron, ISO Wade. It's Cleveland, with more scoring superstar power through 48 minutes, less frontcourt defense. Once you get Haslem back, it'll be like having Varejao as a defensive four, and you'll be even more like the Cavs. The only thing this team does better than the Cavs is get up the court on a break. If they don't get those turnovers, though...they are the Cavs, setting up isolations for one superstar, and feeding the shooters out of penetrations OR star-gazing as LeBron (or Wade, sometimes) gets to the rim and goes to the line. If LeBron and Wade weren't so similar, you could probably draw up a few offensive sets that would work, and one of them could play off the ball effectively...but the only time those two are going to play off of each other is on the break. We'll find out even more in late April. Their play, against elite defensive teams in a seven-gamer, will show us if they are a Cleveland clone, or the real thing.
