Incredible first half.

I love seeing the Celtics pick up those techs, I pretty much hate KG so that made me happy LOL. Hopefully we keep this tempo up as of now textbook offense best execution I have seen in a very long time.

End of three and we have extended our lead to 25. I am sure we are not capable of blowing such a lead but is we blow this lead omg.....

Amazing win man the Rockets are making a valiant effort for that last spot, been some really fun basketball after the trades were made.

Luis Scola's injury in a way has been a blessing for Patrick Patterson and he's taken full advantage of it. Kyle Lowry and Chuck Hayes are indescribably good. :glasses:

HUGE win for us, we really needed this as the playoff chase was looking bleak for us just a couple of days ago.

Patterson has been terrific in all his starts, great all-around player.

Question for the Rockets fans, how much does Patterson's emergence impact Scola's future with Houston? Gotta believe they'll look at trade options this off-season, no?

I believe so, he is an aging player and has a big contract. I could see us moving him in a package for a big time player. I just hope we don't trade Martin that's all.

Depends whether Houston is looking to rebuild or continue to be a low playoff seed. The trades for Thabeet, Dragic and the two picks make me feel like Morey is leaning toward rebuilding but I can't be too sure with Daryl Morey. Personally I think the Rockets will certainly entertain trade offers for Scola, if a good offer is on the table I think they will take it especially if its for a small forward or center.

Patterson's trade value has to be sky high right now, dude looks like he's going to be a top 5 player in this draft class and already has the leadership and personality that a lot of teams are going to want in their locker rooms. Houston seemed very reluctant to trade Patterson though even if it was for Carmelo Anthony.

My verdict is that Scola will likely go before Patterson and there actually is a decent chance he does get moved. Potentially for picks and cap space as the Rockets could gun for the strong 2012 free agency class although that highly depends on the CBA.

One more thing, Patterson has to be one of the most humble players in the league. I don't think he would mind another season behind Scola but if the Rockets do want Patrick to develop his game further he's going to need Luis' minutes.

Exactly what I was thinking, he is in the same situation that Bud was in before we got rid of Battier. Scola will be moved before Patterson that's for sure.

It impacts it in a big way, the Rockets signed Luis to a lengthy contract and he's not very young either. Scola is a great player and as durable as anyone in the league, it's an oddity to see him injured for this many games he had a 300+ active streak going.

In a way the Rockets are in a good position to once again aim for a superstar, teams love Scola and are seeing what Patt Patt can turn into given the minutes. Patt is a flat out hard worker who can play both ends, while Scola is far more offensive than anything else. Both have good value so I think it opens up the opportunities even more, he was a great draft pick.

Completely agree I think he's been great, waited patiently and was ready to do whatever the Rockets wanted him to do, very mature draft pick to say the least.
