Suns keys.

Defend the inside. As much as Robin Lopez is on my hated list, run the twin towers concept with Gortat and Lopez. Clog up the middle, don't allow inside shots by anyone, including Kobe, and make them all take bad shots this game. Especially Kobe Bryant, because he loves to chuck, and as ong as we man him up well he'll put up shots Ron Harper would frown upon. Another key is jump shooting, we won't get inside with two giants in the paint, so put him so good three point shooters. Give Channing minutes.

Laker keys.

Kobe needs to show up for you guys, and I feel that you'll need to put Blake in early the gang to cover Steve Nash, Nash isn't really quick, but he can turn and zip around the court ery easily anytime he'd like. I'm not really sure if Derek has that level of change of direction speed as Nash does. Another one would guard Channing on the perimeter, because there isn't that many players who shoot the deep three like Channing, and that could be a problem considering the fact Gasol isn't use to defending from beyond the arc.

What the hell?

I turned the game off with the Suns down by about 20 points mid way through the 3rd, turn my tv back on and the 2nd overtime is just starting?

How the hell did that happen? Did Phoenix just get ridiculously hot from deep like they can, or did the Lakers just completely choke?

What a find by Nash.

I don't know how he didn't drag the pivot foot, let alone find Gortat with a behind the back pass while he was falling out of bounds. Gortat did a nice job of drawing the defense in and kicking it out to Frye for the open three.

Kobe with a great pass of his own after the errant pass from Odom. Nice awareness to find Gasol for what would've been an and one if it wasn't for Frye recovering just in the knick of time. That block may have saved the game for the Suns.

Umm, what kind of a play was that? Terrible play call and a brutal trigger pass from Dudley.

EDIT: Props to Kobe for the defense on Hill, though. He did a nice job of getting right up on Hill to prevent him from getting any sort of seperation.

Great strip of Nash from Fisher. Credit to Gasol for hedging hard on the pick which slowed Nash up just enough to allow Fisher to get recover and strip him of the rock.

That was also a very impressive offensive rebound by Bryant. Too bad the tip didn't go in, but just getting to that rebound was impressive as he came flying out of nowhere for it.

Lakers blow 3 point blank looks. That could be costly. You have to convert on those in a game like this, especially when you get 3 good looks within 7 feet.

Suns are falling apart here. That is 3 straight possessions that have ended up in a turnover.

Huge shot from Artest there. Carter played very good defense (bit on the pump fake, but did a nice job of recovering) to force him into a tough, one legged fadeaway, but he got the bounce to put the Lakers up by 5.

Suns need to get a good shot here. Their offense has been completely out of sync in the 3rd overtime and they definitely need a basket here.

And they did just that. Nice play call from Gentry to get Frye the open look off of the little brush screen from Carter. Great execution.
