Cobb
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Rodney Stuckey is the latest Detroit Piston to come back from a benching with a hop in his step. Stuckey had 22 points and 10 assists and made several big plays during the fourth quarter to help the Pistons pull away for a 116-109 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night. Stuckey hadn't played in the previous two games, but he says he and coach John Kuester resolved their differences. "I'm still a young player," the 24-year-old Stuckey said. "I'm really passionate about this game. I let my emotions get in the way, I got punished, and it's over." Richard Hamilton, another Piston who has clashed with Kuester this season, scored 25 points with nine assists. Greg Monroe added 20 points and 10 rebounds for Detroit. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/gametracker/recap/NBA_20110406_NJ@DET
Teletopez
Brook had 39 points with 9:50 to go in the game, and he took three shot attempts (including one tip shot attempt) for the rest of the game. He was having arguably the most dominant game of his career, and we seemed to just stop feeding the ball. Most points scored by a Nets center since Mike Gminski had 41 points 25 years ago. Lopez was the only starter playing in this game. Deron visited a hand specialist, Ammo traveled with the team but was hurt, and James and Humphries have been out.
