Jammin
After receiving an improved offer last week and taking a few more days to deliberate, two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Steve Nash notified the Phoenix Suns over the weekend that he is accepting the Suns' two-year extension offer worth an estimated $22 million, according to team sources. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4341269 That is why we're in financial trouble. BlueDevil
wow could have probably gotten him cheaper, how much is Kidd getting?
andreusito
^Kidd is older though.I think it's pretty fair price. Nash is underrated at the moment.

BlueDevil
with the Suns not expected to be contending next year, it seems rediculous to put that much money into a 36 year old point guard.Im assuming he will be traded sometime later this year, like around the trade deadline in order to help improve the suns roster, and Nash will go to a contender. Sun Tzu
I don't see how we overpaid Nash at all. He can still produce a lot and didn't show any signs of slowing down last season. I think Nash will be able to go for another 2 seasons.
The Goods
Seems like a fair price, he is still a great player.
OldChili
It's not a horrible deal by any means.
Celtics3420
Im surprised Nash didnt test the market to try and sign with a contender(Cleveland?). He's one of the guys i think really deserves a ring, would hate to see him end his career w/out one.
