I have actually been trying to base my shooting form on Ray Allen but it's pretty clear I am not good at copying. Is your shooting motion based on or similar to any NBA player? If so, who? Cleveland's Finest Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 I try shooting like certain players. I mean I obviously don't mirror them, but how I think they shoot it. I've always shot like LeBron in terms of sticking with a way of shooting. At least that's how I think I shoot. I'm thinking a hybrid between Kevin Martin and Rashard Lewis lol. I try to replicate shooting motions like Kobe's, but at this point I'm just too used to shooting my way. I love the way he shoots, one of the better forms in the NBA in my opinion. One time, I was told that I "Kobe'd" my defender to win the game. I kinda faked like I was going to drive right and turned around and faded my shot as the guy was right there with me as I sank the shot.
