magicbalala245
The Los Angeles Clippers agreed to trade Quentin Richardson to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Sebastian Telfair, Mark Madsen and Craig Smith, a league source told ESPN.com's Chad Ford on Monday. The trade is expected to be announced later Monday after the teams complete a trade call with the league. The trade will give the Clippers a solid backup point guard behind Baron Davis and give them some depth at the power forward position. For the Wolves this essentially saves them some money next season and clears up a potential logjam at the point guard position. New Wolves GM David Kahn is currently in Spain trying to negotiate a buyout for Ricky Rubio. If Kahn can get an agreement, he will have both Rubio and their other lottery pick, Jonny Flynn, as the team's point guards.
Dr. Feelgood
I like this deal for Telfair as I'm still a fan of his despite him being wasted potential talent, but he should see some good back up time behind BDiddy.
Dash
I like it. Minny dumps $9 million in salary and move Telfair, who wouldn't be playing much if Rubio comes over.
BlueDevil
Quentin Richardson is gonna be in the record book for the player most traded in an offseason. He goes from NY to Memphis to Clippers and now to Wolves.
xx.
Wow great deal for the Clippers. Clippers will probably just waive Mark Madsen, but I think trading Q-Rich for Craig Smith alone would have been a good trade and Telfair does have talent no matter what anyone says. I guess Iverson wont be coming to LA though
Owner Real Deal Posted July 20, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 20, 2009 So, either Rubio will play this upcoming season, or the Wolves are getting Iverson or Andre Miller. Or they get nothing.
JWaLL
Wow the Twolves are getting an entirely new makeover. Dumping Telfair definitely makes Minny look much more attractive to Rubio. Maybe he'll end up coming over after all. You never know.
andreusito
All I can say is I'm sorry for Quentin. Hopefully he hadn't bought 3 houses already.
Sun Tzu
More minutes for Rubio. Depth from Q-Rich at the 2 and 3. Good job, Minny.

s.t.a.t.
dont understand this trade completely...I lost track of Qrich ever since he left the suns...is he good anymore? All these trades are making me think...we have no guard now that foye is gone...we have Ryan Gomes, Q, and Corey Brewer at a 3 spot...no one at 4 if Al Jefferson plays C, and no one at C if he plays at PF...just makes me think
