Think how cool it would be if you and your friend made commentary for the game? Also, people could rip audio from broadcasts and have the correct broadcasters for each team. Just a thought... I'd love to hear Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino broadcasting every Heat homegame I play. It would add so much more variety to the game. It would also be nice if they updated the crowds a bit, like if you are running an association and your team doesn't play well, attendance becomes low. FIfa did this for their game, so why can't 2k? MLB : The Show has many of the features bolded. NBA 2k has made strides, but perfection is still far away for this game. Which is a GREAT thing. Check my Stats Posted September 5, 2010 Report Share Posted September 5, 2010 Add the online be a pro features that NHL10 has. This would instantly make that game the more popular one IMO. Being able to create an online player, track your win-loss record, track your stats, join up teams so that you play unselfish ball, leagues, it would just be really cool. I am surprised Live (elite) hasn't put this in yet since NHL10 has it and is produced by EA, this is a feature that has made NHL video games so popular. SRV Posted September 6, 2010 Report Share Posted September 6, 2010 (edited) Raise your way through the ranks in Be A Pro...like start off in highschool, get recruited, go to college, you get to choose how many years you play, hire an agent, sign shoe deals, go to camp and so on. I am sure that the NBA can't mess with college in their games, but it would be cool to do if they were allowed to do it. Stuff like: A full NBA draft with commentary and analysis like on TV News articles and reports. Interviews(like press conferences when you sign a big FA/make a big trade, rookie press conferences, post game press conference, random interviews, etc) Technical fouls and ejections At least have that years draft class available for Assocation(like this year it would be the 2011 class and so on) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also, signing a big free agent or making a nice trade should boost attendance. Also, I know a lot of people will laugh/role their eyes to this one, but I think NBA 2K should add a WNBA portion to their games. NOT a separate game, there isn't enough popularity in women's basketball to do such a thing. Just add WNBA teams, and maybe a few modes featuring the WNBA like a WNBA Association, like how Live has Euro teams and such. I know, I know... "only if there is a code/glitch where you can see Becky Hammon without her clothes" I get it. I just think it would be an interesting add on. It would help the WNBA get more noticed as well. Also, for those who love sim games without all the abused dunks and inside shots online, imagine how much more sim playing with WNBA teams would be. That's been something I've been thinking about for a long time, although it sounds like an awfully complicated process. This way, guys can update the commentary which is good. This way, guys can update the commentary which is good. You can record you own chants in MLB : The Show. I'm sure it can work in NBA 2k with a similar process. TV ads, press conferences (character choices), create a sneaker, more player customization options, more realistic coach profiles, Be a GM, Be a head coach.
