fish7718
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/ABPub/2010/09/04/2010045726.jpg T.J. Houshmandzadeh has $7 million in his back pocket courtesy of his guaranteed salary from the Seattle Seahawks. He's probably not going to be sitting out for too long, though. Houshmandzadeh has not returned messages since being released by the Seahawks and becoming an unrestricted free agent. His decision on where to play next season appears to be narrowing down to either Oakland or Washington, according to a source who had spoken with him. Houshmandzadeh, 32, led Seattle in receptions last season, but was released by Seattle on Saturday. His 2010 salary of $7 million is guaranteed, but there is certainly an offset clause, which would mean that Seattle is responsible only for the difference of the $7 million total and whatever he would earn from another team in 2010. Most expect him to sign for the veteran minimum in 2010 with another team. Source

ChosenOne
Houshmandzadeh signs with Ravens The Ravens sign T.J. Houshmandzadeh to a 1-year deal. This one sort of came out of left field, huh? It seemed like the Raiders or Redskins were the favorite to land the veteran wideout, but instead he ended up in B-Town. I didn't like Houshmandzadeh last season in Seattle, I didn't like him heading into this season in Seattle and well, I like him even less with the Ravens. The team already has Boldin and Derrick Mason ahead of him, so Houshmandzadeh won't be more than third on the depth chart. If you're in a smaller league, he's barely even worth a roster spot. On a positive note, this just adds another weapon in the pass attack for Joe Flacco. His value is clearly on the rise. NFL.com NFL.com is a very reliable source, I believe this is a done deal. The Regime
What are the Ravens doing, trying to imitate the Jets? I don't really see the point in this signing, surely it gives Flacco another reliable target but as Fish said Derrick Mason has got to be a little disappointed. bigdog17k
Nice random signing, don't expect it to help much.
EastCoastNiner
Nice random signing, don't expect it to help much. They're going to win the division regardless of Houshmandzadeh, so it won't help them that much......

Taber
Its funny it seems most guys who change teams never perform the way they did on their original team. Oh and people are overrating the Jets so bad, they don't have a QB. Can't wait to beat them week 2!
