Jets to sign Revis to new seven-year contract

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Jets and Darrelle Revis have reached agreement on a new seven-year contract that will end the All-Pro cornerback's preseason-long holdout.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Revis will fly to New York, sign his new contract (financial terms not yet disclosed), and be on the field against Baltimore next Monday night. The Jets were able to avoid a one-year, "band-aid" type deal, though the new pact can reportedly "easily" void to four years, likely based on performance and starts. Upgrade the Jets fantasy defense, and shy away from starting Anquan Boldin in Week 1. Revis Island has returned.
