The Regime
Lakers forward Ron Artest plans to auction his championship ring for the benefit of mental-health awareness. "I'm never going to put it on," he said. Artest plans to soon announce details of what he hopes will become a worldwide auction. He, along with his Los Angeles teammates, will receive the ring on Oct. 26 in a pre-game ceremony before the team opens the season against the Rockets. "You work so hard to get a ring, and now you have a chance to help more people than just yourself, instead of just satisfying yourself," he said. "What's better than that? For me, this is very important." http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69042/20100909/artest_to_auction_title_ring_for_mental_health_awareness/

Riot
Pretty admirable thing of him to do. Edit: Although, thinking about it, I'd rather just keep the ring and give my own money to the cause if I were him lol. Still very cool of him though. Multi-Billionaire
This is the first though... it should not be valued by any money. If he wants to make donations, then donate with your own damn money... Champ ring is only one... especially the first. lmao this guy is inzane
