What I mean are rappers who's lyrics don't really have much substance, and wouldn't be considered deep lyrics, but are just fun to listen to. My favorites like Curren$y, UGK, Koopsta Knicca, Lil' Wyte, and Project Pat, mostly talk about getting high, cars, and woman. They don't exactly have thought provoking lyrics, but they are good at rapping about these things. Who are some of your favorites? Sure he's no Lupe, Talib Kweli or Nas, but his lyrics are certainly on a different level as opposed to a guy raps about getting high and nice whips (ex. currensy) Big Sean is a nice punchline rapper, as well as the most underrated punchline rapper of all time, Fabolous.
