magicbalala245
Billups understood the level of performance and mentorship that Denver wanted out of him, and he gave it to them. Carmelo Anthony now wants to leave, and a league source told Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears that the Chicago Bulls have made themselves the frontrunner for the All-Star forward. Billups told management this: Find a way to keep Anthony. There’s no trade out there that makes us better. Billups will talk to Anthony, but he says he’s not going to try to convince him to stay. “I can’t push my loyalty for the Nuggets onto him,” he said. ’Melo will do what he wants to do, and Billups knows it. “He’s not a kid anymore,” he said. “Carmelo is a grown man.” So with Bulls now officially the front runners what pieces would you Nuggets fan like from the Bulls if you were to trade Melo to the Bulls. Newman
I can see Deng, Taj Gibson and James Johnson + picks gone for Melo. This would be the 'best' care scenario for us to obtain Melo without trading Noah.
Multi-Billionaire
All I can say is EVEN with Noah included, it'd still be a horrible trade for us Nuggets. Who would score? And Noah (as important as he is to the Bulls) isn't on the same level as Melo. I love players who play with passion and give 110% every time and especially ones who rebound like Noah, but if this trade goes through, I'd be sad. It's not a fair value. Obviously the Bulls want to keep Noah, Rose, and Boozer and then get Melo. If this kind of trade happens, where we only get Deng and some fillers, it's sad sad sad day for the franchise. It's so sad it's probably never going to recover for a decade. Since we're not getting Rose, then shall we say [expletive] the Bulls? If I was the GM and if it's clear to me that Melo really doesn't want to stay anymore, the only team I'd be talking to is the Nets.
Multi-Billionaire
And I have to say Woj is a hell of a writer. I enjoy his writing a lot. If I were a billionaire, I'd donate millions to him... it's nice to see people with genuine passion in what they do, and that passion becomes a product that becomes an art. I'd pay to read Woj's works.
trutrojan8
So Melo is now going to the Bulls, Knicks, Nets, Bulls again, and Europe. Very reliable sources so far, so I'm going to believe this one too
