Poe
The game is tied at the half with a buzzer beater from Marquez. The Dream's defense has been outstanding. They are forcing turnovers and keeping the Storm from getting inside while running and gunning on offense. They are just playing with a ton of energy in an attempt to outplay the Storm's talented line up. It's amazing how they are managing to keep the game close even though their star player McCoughtry was in foul trouble. Also, usually when I watch basketball I'll grow a liking for certain players, often times they aren't even stars. For the Dream it's Shalee Lehning, and her playstyle has impressed me. She does so many things on the court, plays very good defense, draws charges, moves the ball well on offense, is creative with her passes, and even rebounds well. She's a lot like a young Rondo where she's everything but a scoring threat. Players sag off of her, and she doesn't even shoot free throws well. Being that she's only a 24 year old 2nd year pro, I wonder if her game will develop the same way Rondo's did.

Guest Michael Jordan
Sue Bird looked bad right there.
Dr. Feelgood
Team USA just won and now I'm watching this game. Seattle went on a little run right as I flipped it on, which is great because I'm definitely rooting for the Storm to win. I can tell the fourth quarter is going to be very tight and close. Poe
Ouch, I think McCoughtry rammed her head into Vesela's mouth. That must be why she's bleeding.

Poe
Another Sue Bird game winner, and another great defensive possession to close it out. That's a championship team right there.

Poe
It's impressive how close the Dream are keeping these games in Seattle. They might win a game or two at home. Edited September 15, 2010 by Poe
Dr. Feelgood
That was an amazing shot to close the second by McCoughtry to bring the game within 2. Though Lauren Jackson is coming out strong in the third and is demonstrating why she's the MVP of the league. She's a monster.
Poe
Another game decided by 3 points or less. The Dream have been very surprising. It's going to be interesting going back to Atlanta.

Poe
McCoughtry is putting up quite a show. 19 points at the half. I wanna see her will the Dream to a W.
Dr. Feelgood
Damn it, I missed all but the last 40 seconds of this game. I was really looking forward to watching it but had a lot of errands to run today before I got home. I could have sworn that McCoughtry's last shot was going to go in to send the game into overtime. Poe
Well, it's official. The Seattle Storm are the WNBA champs. Atlanta fought hard and their coach did a great job, but the Storm were just too deep and experienced to let anything slide. Well deserved.
