Andrew Bynum's contract

Recommended Posts

And everyone said that Biedrins is overpaid.

I don't know what the Lakers were thinking when they gave Bynum that contract.

Bynum is the better players let's get that straight. All Biedrins can only get you 10 & 10. Bynum at least has potential to average 20 & 10 some point down his career.

Last year is a team option. If Drew can play the way he did before going down with an injury, then yeah, sure. But he hasn't proven anything yet. He's getting a HUGE raise next year, so I'm expecting big things. The potential is there, the results aren't. He always plays well in spurts, and whenever he finally gets going, he gets injured. Hopefully that's different next year, because he has a lot to prove.

Either way though, bigs are always getting overpaid. So I'm not too surprised. Hopefully he can live up to the expectations next year, especially if LO doesn't come back.

Biedrins averaged 12 points in an offense where no plays were ran for him besides one or two pick n rolls a game. Biedrins is better at everything than Bynum besides shooting. He has a few offensive moves in the low post, but he wouldn't have had those either if it weren't for Kareem.

Bynum when playing like when he was healthy was averaging 18 & 10 with 3 blocks a game. It don't get better then that with a team with Kobe, Pau, LO. Were now going to see how will this work sicne Artest is in LA now.

He did that for like 2 weeks. Big whup.

Beans is one of the most underrated players in the league. If he was a Laker we'd be calling him the next big thing.

He did that for 2 weeks as Brian said. He can't do it consistently and he's lazy.

Listen Bynum only did that for 2 weeks cause he got injured after. And being lazy is an understatement. You should see this guy summer workouts then. Also he will be training with Dwight this summer

What he does in the offseason doesn't matter. He didn't play 2 weeks last year and then get injured. He played like the first 2 months and only played well for 2 weeks before getting injured. I'd take a player like Beans, who has shown he can play at a high level night in and night out, on a consistent basis over Drew. Any day of the week.

I would as long as there is no Kobe or Odom near him. Or I make sure he wears a super thick knee brace.

After all there is so little talent among big men. Sure you wish the contract was not that big, but I'd live with that if I was an owner. It's a smart money and they were right for two weeks before something they can't control happened.

And again make sure Kobe or Odom stays as far away from his knee.
