The Regime
The Patriots have traded fifth-year RB Laurence Maroney to the Denver Broncos, according to an NFL source. Terms of the deal are not yet known. Maroney missed two of the Patriots' four preseason games, then was inactive for New England's opener against Cincinnati. He rushed for 2,430 yards and 21 touchdowns in his four years as a Patriot. ESPN was first to report the news. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2010/09/maroney_traded.html
SRT Spidey
Maroney wasn't really fitting into our system anyways...we have Taylor, Faulk, and Morris. Fourth round pick? I guess..

fish7718
Great trade for the Broncos.Ru joking? Holmes went for a 5th in the offseason and he's much better than Lo Mo, I'm not sure what Denver is thinking if they gave up a 4th.
Taber
Not surprised given we really had no use for him unless injuries happened and in his time here he just hasn't performed well consistently. Also he is in the last year of his deal.

EastCoastNiner
He showed flashes of great ability, but could never put it completely together. If he learns to run straight, he can be a good HB, but until he learns that and stops running sideways, he may continue to struggle.

JYD
I think it's pretty decent for both sides. Maroney wasn't going to get work in at N.E. anymore, they phased him out. And he could fit with Denver getting some touches, could revitalize his career.
