Worst losses suffered as a fan?

Flash how old were you for the Broncos superbowl, 7? Can't tell me with a straight face that that was one of the worst losses you've suffered.

 

I cried after that [expletive] lol. I remember the game too.

Losing to the Pistons sucked, being swept by them in 2007 playoffs, then in 08 beating the Raps but then losing to the Pistons in 5 games. And losing the first 2 games to Boston last season sucked big time.

By far when the Tigers lost to Kansas in the National Championship. Nothing else even comes close.

Man, the 90's Celtics where bad, and we weren't really food until 2007. And hey Laker fans, don't be all biased with the refs you fools. We got barely any calls this year, but I do congratulate you on your win.

Same for me Real Deal. the loss I suffered the most is when I saw the Celtics win the 2008 championship. It was so hard to see Pierce lift up this trophy..

For me it would probably be 2006. We entered the Suns series as big time underdogs, got a 3-1 series lead, and ended up choking. Tim Thomas and Raja Bell we both [expletive]s the entire series so that just added to the excitement of the whole series, and on top of that Kobe's game-winner in game 4 really would put this series at the top as one of the most epic playoff wins. Little did I know we would drop 3 straight games. The Suns were absolutely stacked that year too (compared to the Lakers atleast), so I gave Prodigy a whole bunch of [expletive] about them when they were down 3-1. The loss definitely stung me more on a personal level.

 

lol I remember I was devastated when Kobe hit that shot, also thought it was all over with all the momentum L.A had up 3-1. But we found a way to force to game 7 and then kill you guys by 40, and you didn't have [expletive] to say then.

Wanted to comment on the Game 6 2008 posts. For me, that was not the disappointing loss in the series. Instead, by far, it was game 4. By game 6, I had already accepted the fact that the series was over. I stopped watching once the lead started growing and we looked dead in the water. I lost all hope in a series win after game 4, which to me, was the worst loss as a Lakers fan

Weeks after the 9/11 attacks, the fashion in which the Bombers took Games 3, 4, and 5 was incredible. To win all three World Series games played in the Bronx meant a lot to the city and the state.

I was sitting front row in right field for Jeter's walkoff, the ball landed maybe 5 feet in front of me. I can still see myself when they show the replays on YES

 

I honestly thought the stadium was going to collapse when Tino tied the game in the 9th, and it was honestly mass hysteria when Jeter walked off. Never hugged and high fived so many random strangers in my life.

Our 06-07 Game 7 loss to the Jazz, burned very bad especially when I thought the game was pretty much in our hands.

brazil - [expletive] ZIDANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE france 98..STILL haunts me - interestingly enough though, that was my favorite world cup experience overall (out of the 5 ive seen)
