Mods who close topics or delete posts that suggest mindless arguing

Bullying members who give OTR a bad name

The ability to upload videos to your profile

No more statuses(OTR was WAY better without them)

Only basketball talk, as far as sports go

I'm done...

Meebo Chat-Eh don't care much about it.

Mods who close topics or delete post that suggest mindless arguing-Mods do a great job closing topics which aren't needed.

Bullying members who give OTR a bad name-How is that a suggestion?

The ability to upload videos to your profile-Like my profile? It's already possible.

No more statuses(OTR was WAY better without them)-I don't see why we should get rid of it.

Only basketball talk, as far as sports go- HELL NO!

Use AIM.

We don't delete posts, and I'm not going to close topics I find valuable to the forums just because a couple of members continue to go at each other.

Bullying members who give OTR a bad name

And spammers who only care about posting their blog links?

The ability to upload videos to your profile

You can post videos in your About Me section. I'm not going to allow video uploads, because I don't have the server space for that.

No more statuses(OTR was WAY better without them)

Status updates have been around longer than you were registered here, so how do you know if OTR was better?

Only basketball talk, as far as sports go

Never going to happen.

Ehh.. I agree in a sense. There are members who hurt the discussion here, and some even seem to do it on purpose. Bullying or deleting their posts is not the solution though, and I don't believe in the idea of closing topics unless it's completely and utterly pointless or there are multiples of the same topic, or something like that.

The better solution to encourage better quality posting is for mods to negative rep the baiting/trolling/whateveritscalled posts and edit the post with some sort of red text that gives a warning of some sort, as well as a message. In the message should not only include why their post deserves the warning, but also reminding the member of what this site is about, and showing the member what type of posts are valued here. If the member continually posts with the purpose of damaging discussion, then give him a short ban.

I already gave out a suggestion like this before, but a good idea to make this site more basketball minded is to change the rep system where rep actually shows an accurate representation of how well this particular member discusses the game, and how much effort he puts into his debates/articles/whatnot. The current rep system values posts that are funny/pwn more than it values basketball related posts, and the type of posting here reflects on that quite a bit.

I do believe things need to change in order to bring OTR to another level. The site has potential in my opinion, but we need to change things in order to create change.
