Warren2ThaG
http://www.blogcdn.com/fantasy.fanhouse.com/media/2008/11/brandon-jacobs.jpgReport: Jacobs will ask Giants to trade him----------------Brandon Jacobs will meet with Giants management today and ask to be traded, a source tells Vinny DiTrani of the Bergen Record. No matter what Jacobs says in the media, he is clearly extremely unhappy playing second fiddle to Ahmad Bradshaw. The Giants would probably be fine with a trade, but it's going to be almost impossible. Jacobs is in the second year of a four-year, $25 million contract that will pay him $4.65 million in 2011 and $4.9 million in 2012. Jacobs' demands won't do anything to get him more carries because his real problem is a lack of productivity on the field. ---http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Headlines.aspx?sport=NFL&hl=182710

Universe
Always though someone like Jacobs would be a great duo with Jackson rather than Grant but wouldn't want to spend too much.

NomarFachix
Adam_Schefter Giants RB Brandon Jacobs is unhappy in NY -- no secret. But he has not requested a trade at this time, nor is NY willing to deal him.  MikeGarafoloHere's all I know on Jacobs: If he's going to ask for a trade, he hasn't told those close to him. #nyg  MikeGarafoloHang on right now on the Brandon Jacobs trade demands. Getting info right now that we're not quite there yet. Stay tuned. #nyg

NomarFachix
DiTrani sucks, he's probably the only Giants beat writer I don't follow on Twitter. To be honest, Jacobs is getting the short end. Against a team yesterday who you absolutely need to establish a running game against to have a shot of being them, he gets four touches? Four? The offensive line is awful. Andrews needs to find his way into some playing time at LG or RT, and soon. It doesn't help at all that Gilbride is a horrific offensive coordinator and runs Jacobs out there with two extra linemen, runs him to the stacked end, and there are offensive and defensive linemen and linebackers three yards in the backfield and he has to fight just to get back to the line... and then is taken off the field again. It's outrageous how poorly designed this offensive scheme is, and how the coaching staff thinks we're better off with a 3rd down scatback starting and finishing games for us. EastCoastNiner
Just be thankful you don't have Jimmy Raye. He is far and away the worst OC in the NFL, and I mean far and away. There is no way that a team like the 49er's, with the offensive weapons they have should be scoring as little as they do. I'm not saying they are a premier offensive team, but they have too much talent for what Jimmy Raye is letting them do.
AboveLegit
No way this happens. With the way the Giants played last night, they will need him to block in the backfield. That Offensive line is terrible, Eli has no help. When he has the protection, he is able to make all the throws. They have a shot at winning this division, no way will they trade away one of their best offensive threats.

EastCoastNiner
Hasn't the OC been the problem in San Fran since Alex Smith got drafred? The constant switching of OC's. Jimmy Raye's playbook consists of four damn plays. He needs to open it up. Tonight is hopefully a trap game for the Saints.........
The Great iBoldin
There are some awful coordinators in the league that shouldn't be in an offensive capacity to call plays. Gilbride and Raye are two of them. It sucks because a guy like Jim Zorn, who is a great coordinator or QB coach but not in the right mind to be a head coach, is coaching up Joe Flacco when he could be running a team like San Francisco who would thrive on his principles on offense.  Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree would be absolutely dynamite in his offense, a vertical passing game with the short game (roots of the WCO) implemented into it.  A list of OC's who shouldn't be in their respective capacities. For fun. Curtis ModkinsDan Henning Bruce AriansClyde Christiansen (AKA Peyton Manning)Dirk KoetterJason GarrettKevin GilbrideMike MartzJeff DavidsonJimmy RayePat Shurmur There are a few that either have Head Coaches calling plays (Payton, Whis, etc.) or are simply average. But then you look at guys in secondary roles (QB Coaches, running backs, quality control, etc.) that could deserve a shot at an OC job. Zorn, Charlie Joiner, Brian Ferentz, Edgar Bennett, etc.
Phightins
I'd consider adding Marty Mornhinweg to that list...at least based on what I have seen the first two weeks. Although, much of the blame there probably goes to AR.
