Mo Williams considered retiring

Recommended Posts

And LeBron's been a professional through this all? Mo has every right to show emotion. It's not like he's putting up videos of him crying on YouTube like Stephon Marbury. He's not cussing or wishing harm to LeBron. And he's not Delonte in that he won't have off court trouble or show any sense of being bipolar.

WTF does ANY of that have to do with Mo or what he said? It's not an issue that he said what he did, but it's pretty pathetic and crazy nontheless. As a Cavs fan I'd be pretty pissed that with all this talk about moving forward and rallying around the circumstances fr the city that Mo would, at one point or another, consider retiring because a teammate left during fre agency.

He's just a normal human being. He's not being extreme at all. Just posting what he feels on twitter. If you seriously see him becoming some controversial figure where he plays like a slouch during the season, well, I just haven't seen any of that in Mo his career here so I consider this a short term, in the moment thing. (Like Dan Gilbert's message to LBJ)

Who said anything about it being controversial? It's just sad.

Mo just tweeted:

Just need to put this out there to all my fans about the yahoo story about me retiring, sense it's getting a little out of hand. I was misquoted or misunderstood however u want to put it. I will clear everything up Monday on media day. I was never considering walking away rt now. And especially because lbj left. It made a good story though. Though u know I will never walk away prematurely before my contract is up. That absorb.
