ChosenOne
SAN FRANCISCO -- New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush has a fractured fibula in his right leg, sources tell ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The injury is not expected to end Bush's season, sources said, indicating he could return in four to six weeks. More tests were scheduled for Tuesday. The Saints had Tuesday off after returning early in the morning from their 25-22 Monday night victory at San Francisco. Saints spokesman Greg Bensel said Tuesday there were no planned updates on Bush's injury from the team. Bush had to leave Monday night's 25-22 victory over San Francisco in the fourth quarter. Bush, who said he likely would get X-rays after the team returned to New Orleans, had an ice bag wrapped around his right leg in the locker room and was using crutches to get around. "I'm just trying not to think the worst and just try to stay as positive as I can in this situation," Bush said. "That's all you can do, hope for the best." Flash
Tough break for Reggie. He started off the season pretty well too. Hopefully he comes back at 100%. One of my favorite players.

AboveLegit
There was a noticeable difference in his running style about halfway through last year for the Saints. Pierre Thomas started to get more touches and - under some serious coaching, I'm sure - Reggie Bush began to run like an NFL running back. He finishes his runs and squares up on people now. He doesn't dance as much and try to pull everything outside. Now it's up to Pierre Thomas to step up, and I'm sure he's up to it. I hope Reggie comes back healthy, they will need him in the playoffs. Owner Real Deal Posted September 21, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 What a sad season for him so far. Handing over the Heisman after the media wouldn't leave him alone, and now this.
