andreusito
Am I the only one who thinks the players shouldn't be able to control where they play? During free agency they can do whatever they want, but it's killing me how stars who just get tired of their team ask (and pretty much force the team) for a trade to a better team. It's them who are getting paid, so they should all stfu. You don't have people in real life jobs who demand their bosses for a department change and upgrade.. Clutch
i think its good that athletes are allowed to take charge of their own destiny, instead of hopin the management will one day eventually do something - there are only a handful of teams that are about rings, everyone else is just chillin
Check my Stats
Players just need to be professional/mature. If you want out do it discretely, have respect for the franchise you've played for and give them the best opportunity to get fair value. I agree players should never be allowed to demand a trade, but every player has the right to request a deal if the team is going the opposite direction, especially players approaching 30. Want a trade to win (Chris Paul) is different then wanting a trade just to get out of a city like Melo is, I mean [expletive] they were a top team in the West last year.
