Houston Rockets : Kevin Martin - Yao will only play 24 mpg, making this Martin's team for the time being.

Memphis Grizzlies : Zach Randolph - Best scorer and rebounder.

Philadelphia 76ers : Andre Iguodala - The rookie Turner needs to earn his place, so Iggy is still the best player.

Toronto Raptors : Andrea Bargnani - He had a better season than DeMar last year. DeMar still needs to prove himself.

San Antonio Spurs : Tim Duncan - Best scorer, rebounder, and shot blocker.

Cleveland Cavaliers : Mo Williams - Was second fiddle to LeBron... who's gone.

Minnesota Timberwolves : Michael Beasley - Was the second option on a playoff team, will be the first for this bottom seeded squad.

Detroit Pistons : Tayshaun Prince - Most efficient overall player last year.

Milwaukee Bucks : Andrew Bogut - Made the all NBA third team.

Charlotte Bobcats : Gerald Wallace - Was an all star and made the all defensive second team.

Los Angeles Clippers : Chris Kaman - Best scorer, rebounder, shotblocker...

Miami Heat : Dwyane Wade - It's still Wade's team IMO. We'll see how he and LeBron differ to one another this season.

Dallas Mavericks : Dirk Nowitzki-pretty obvious, he's the face of that franchise

New Jersey Nets : Brook Lopez-best all around player on their team

Houston Rockets : Yao Ming-team will ony go as far as he takes them

New York Knicks : Amare Stoudemire-best player on the team, even though I can see Danillo taking over those responsibilities in the future

Memphis Grizzlies : Zach Randolph-one of the few veterans on a fairly young team

Philadelphia 76ers : Andre Iguodala- best player on that team

New Orleans Hornets : Chris Paul- pretty obvious, he's the face of that franchise

Toronto Raptors : Andre Bargnani- I guess lol

San Antonio Spurs : Tim Duncan-he has been the face of their franchise for over a decade now

Chicago Bulls : Derrick Rose- could argue Boozer, but the team is build around Rose

Denver Nuggets : Carmelo Anthony-one of the best players in the league

Cleveland Cavaliers : Mo Williams-don't really no who else to take

Minnesota Timberwolves : Kevin Love- proved his talent in the World Cup, no one else on that roster is mature enough to assume that role

Portland Trailblazers : Brandon Roy-pretty obvious, he's the best player on the team

Indiana Pacers : Danny Granger- team has been running under his wings for the last 5-6 years

Oklahoma City Thunder : Kevin Durant-top 3 talent in the NBA

Milwaukee Bucks : Andrew Bogut-beast on both ends of the floor, Jennings is a close second but needs time to mature

An injury riddled Rocket's team without Yao Ming and Aaron Brooks almost took them to the playoffs himself last year. If they won a few close games here and their Rockets definitely could've been there. Aaron Brooks just keeps getting better and better.

No, the problem was us losing Ariza and Lowry for 12-13 games, I would say Brooks is the MVP but at times we just looked better with Kyle Lowry on the floor, he is a good scorer and shooter but he isnt the MVP.
