The Regime
Andrew Bynum's status for the start of the season is in question as he returns from offseason knee surgery. “We’re hopeful that he’ll be ready for the start of the season,” Lakers spokesman John Black said Wednesday. Black said there is “an outside chance” that Bynum will be able to take part in the team’s final exhibition games Oct. 21 and 22. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69234/20100923/bynum_might_miss_beginning_of_season/
*Swish*
Bynum gets always injured and it's getting annoying for the Lakers and the fans. We need him to stay healthy for the Lakers to win more games! Hopefully, he will be able to play from the beginning till the end of the season without getting injured. But it,s better that it's the beginning of the season then the end when comes playoff time

Check my Stats
Honestly... just sit him the entire season to make sure he is healthy for playoffs. They aren't beating Miami without him. Edited September 24, 2010 by travesy3
Newman
As long as he recovers and is 100% healthy for the latter half of the season + playoffs, I am sure the Lakers' fans don't care much. They got Caracter, Gasol and Ratliff who can play at the C spot anyway.
Owner Real Deal Posted September 25, 2010 Owner Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 Pissed that he didn't get the surgery earlier, but it's whatever. More playing time for Caracter at the beginning of the season. Dude is a monster.

kingfish
That really sucks I wanted to see the entire team play together and how they meshed. Guess we will have to wait even longer for that now.
magicbalala245
Andrew Bynum made his way through the Lakers' annual media day wearing the team's new lightweight jersey design that every team in the NBA will wear for games this season. It could be two months before he puts it on again. A day after Lakers coach Phil Jackson speculated that Bynum could miss the first "three or four" games of the regular season while rehabbing his right knee after undergoing surgery on a meniscus tear July 28, the 23-year-old center revealed fans would have to wait even longer for his return. "I don't really see [being ready]," Bynum said about the team's season opener on Oct. 26 against Houston. "I see more towards the end of November."
