Grgurich is close to Mark Warkentien, the former Denver executive who did not have his contract renewed. The source said the Nuggets have reached out to former Cavaliers coach Mike Brown, but Brown plans to take a year off from coaching. I suggested this move just after he got fired by the Cavs. Think Thibodeau on the Celtics as their defensive guru. Mike Brown would be it with us. And as a bonus, if Karl has to step away due to his illness again, we have a proper "interim" coach to take over, unlike Adrian Dantley who had 0 coaching experience as a head coach. Hopefully, Brown accepts it... he gotta at least consider the prospect of Karl stepping down and he take over. I like this dude, he knows how to push players' button.
